I think that you guys are wonderful regardless of some comments. People expect perfection when they watch anything on youtube. People say bad things about professionals. In my opinion, You guys are doing great for being in high school. Your pitch is good and you both clearly have talent and thats all that matters for the moment honestly. The rest will come with time. As for peoples comments. Dealing with things dump people say comes with this career :) You guys are doing great.

@BarringerTenor thank you so much!! it really means a lot. yeah i have to take every negative comment with a grain of salt because everyone has different ideas of what talent should sound like. especially because gravity is such an amazing song originally, i feel like everyone has reeeeally high expectations of how it should sound. i just want to have fun with singing and we definitely did, so i'm satisfied with the performance :) i'm glad you liked it too!

im sorry but i think it would be much better without harmonies, and blondie is quite nasally im sorry to say. and not to put blondie down but i think (sorry i do not know your name) the brunette is very good. BUT BUT BUT!! Blondie you are amazing too!!! :) you both have lovely voices i just say blondie should work on her voice a little more...

I really liked this cover :) my best friend and I do duets a lot and I think it's super hard to remember all the things you need to do. Also, I tend to get the stage jitters so then all my hard practice goes out the window. But yeah, that being said, watch the nasally sound and the harmony sounded nice, but blending is the key to any great harmony. My friend is always getting onto me about enunciation but only because it is so fricken important. Keep practicing and great job :)

i agree to slow it down a little, but also when you pronouce words be careful, like when you say, "me" like E ending words sound kind of kiddish-not to mean in an offensive way.

and down chew out your R's, other wise your voices are great, and the harmonies are great too.

i think this was good. Harmonies at most points were good. when it came to the harmony on the "down" i think only one should have gone up but other than that it was great :)

I am going to take a guess and say the two of you are musical theater girls. The harmonies and music was fantastic, but the way you acted it out made it seem awkward to watch and almost forced, as a musical theater person myself I know that I've been taught to act out everysong I've ever done; however, I dont think acting out the lyrics was a proper decision for this song.

@crazydiva1012 thank you for the feedback :) i'm not personally a musical theater girl, but this was performed at a musical theater show so we did add a bit of acting. it wasnt forced though, the lyrics are so already so powerful we just found the meaning and ran with it lol thanks though!
