Can anybody decipher the lyrics of the chorus? Our band would like to cover this great song. "I hope it's much better over there....blah blah blah blah...everything is set". What's being said there?
@foothilltom I wrote this lyric and it goes.. 'i'll be coming home again in the early morning rain. Hope that it's much better over there. Meet me off the bus in a day. Everything is set. so Don't bury me yet'... Hope that helps. Del Parker.
Old friend of Derek's here from the 90's. Anyone know what happened to the guy? He is not anywhere online, and I'd love to get back in touch. Message me if you know!!
For some reason it won't let me post the Medium Cool website URL but it's mediumcooldotinfo and there's also more info about the group at the label blog which has a link from the website...
Despite some false starts there are sadly no plans for a compilation of Raw Herbs stuff on the horizon although you can hear a few more tracks on the Medium Cool jukebox on the website.
Yeah I got that Underground tape to. Spent years looking for more of their stuff then my mate found ne the Don't Bury Me Yet 12" at a record fair. Brilliant band.
They remind me of the Del Fuegos or The Beat Farmers... love the banjo! Brings back the days in the last apricot orchards and building empires of Silicon Valley 80s.
Excellent band, I've got that record. Very limited output Why? they were fabulous. She's a Nurse is one of theirs got it free on a cassette on a magazine years ago. If only they'd done an album and gotten some proper exposure they could have been massive. Well I think so anyway.
