If you re-watch the fight Sonnen won all three rounds. The 2nd was very close. I think we were all just shocked Bisping did not get hammered so a non-dominate win makes it look a lot closer.

If you watch a highlight reel of the fight the best Bisping did was in the last 20 seconds of the 3rd round and that won't get you a win.

I think they both were very classy in the post fight interview. I believe when they both watch the fight they will realize it was not quite as close as they thought.

Sonnen will get exposed. A healthy Silva kills that fool. Sonnen in 2010-2011 is no different than Forrest Griffin in 2007-2008 after he submitted an injured Shogun. Look where he is now.

The Bisping fight was just phase one of Sonnen getting exposed (fighting a guy with GOOD HIPS and an actual bottom game unlike Stann who was tailor made for him or Okami who while quite good has nothing off his back).

watching live the sonnen bisping fight was close.. however i watched it again 35mins ago without commentary and chael dominated striking was honestly pretty even bispingwall n stall'd on the fence sonnen had some nice takedowns and some dominant positions on the mat... dont see why the outroar of controversy.. joe rogan just hops on someone dick every fight and points out everything they do and nothing there opponent does.. even when JDS ko'd cain it was what cain didnt do not what jds did

I love Joe Rogan's commentary, his stand-up, his podcasts... all of it.

But you're totally right. He really did slant that to his view and thereby help convince thousands of people that it was a B.S. call. The fact is Chael brought it hard, and that essentially won him the fight, rightfully so. I think Bisping, as expected, looked sharper in striking and defended takedowns / grappled very well. Even so, props to everyone giving your words the thumbs up!
