  • Im not a professional detailer what so ever but i feel like this guy did every step wrong?

    1-washed car in the sun

    2-washed bottom to top

3-sprayed clay bar solution on multiple car panels rather than do a square foot or panel at a time.

    4-who knows what else????

  • Washing and claying a car in sun..ugh..no no no no no no no!

  • I'am just wondering...Where did you get your headlights?

  • NOS ??? IN CALI ?? NO CATS??? ARNOLD MAD !!!!!!

  • Why don't you show those products you used to the camera? I cannot follow your steps if I can't know what to use.

  • i used streak free glass cleaner from a can on my grandads old car, it sucked. Use methylated spirits makes the glass look brand new

  • EFE807 IS HIS LICENSE PLATE!

  • good vid, but he missed up ... when you wash your baby car .lol you always start top first all way around then you leave the bottom for last , why remember the dirt is on the bottom and if you do like he just did " the paint is going to get missed up lol .... you can use 10 buckets 5 clean and 5 for dirty water all day !!! but if you bring the dirt from the bottom to past the doors up like homeboy did you should just drop the spouge on the floor and then wash car like that /// just my 2 cents

  • been watching so many details videos specially meguiars. This guy is just a corporate commercial douche bag. I can't seem to believe how wrong he is doing this car in almost every way.

  • @aqstermole how would you wash your car?

  • you know you put your hand in the mit

  • But yor car is gorgeous even before washing it, imagine dads car ...full of dirt so that you cant recognize its collor ...

  • What type of microphone are you using? Wireless? What brand? Thanks.

  • Another tip for cleaning your windows (from a guy who wears glasses and has many computer monitors):

Use 2 cloths. 1 cloth right after you spray on the fluid. Then follow up with the 2nd cloth to "fast dry" it so it won't leave streaks.

  • thats a nice vet

  • ....And why would anyone take advice from someone who openly admits he knows nothing about cleaning car ??? and it shows

  • @integra1able he said he dosen't know how to work on a car a.k.a fix/repair.

  • Good stuff.

  • washing and drying on circles???? =S

  • those imperfections that you "cant see" on your car are clearly visible on my white car. it fucking blows. thank god for clay bars. they really work

  • I also chased my dog after washing my car. :)

  • You are a moron...You start from the highest part...THE ROOF, and go down.

You are taking DIRT from the bottom of you car and then going up to the hood, windsheild and roof. BRILLIANT!

    IDIOT.

Only use the softest materoal you can find, like Grioits Garage, not shit from Pep Boys dick.

  • you know your hand in the mit

  • FYI you don't know what products to use properly, you don't use products from autozone, maybe like car wash soap and the clay bar, everything else was junk he used

  • Lol nice lamb chops

  • Why are you washing it in the sun you are a complete jack ass

  • This guy is a complete douche bag.

  • nice car try a dirty one

  • cool

  • Dude... wash from TOP TO BOTTOM....look a you bringing all the dirt from the bottom to the top...

  • Nice but host seems to be having a hard time catching his breath haha

  • Good Stuff Man.

  • It doesn't lol

    vvv

  • lol if you dont have cats on ur car how does it pass inspection

  • You're spending more money buying all that junk at autozone... Me I just buy Black Magic tire cleaner, 3M wool pad and foam pad. No one is allowed to wash my car nor polish it unless they kill me first.

  • Do the best thing for your car and quit putting water and soap on it. All that will do in the long run is destroy your paint finish. Check out the Professional WATERLESS Products from Dri Wash 'n Guard International. I promote them on my own detailing website. Google Jonesy's Driwash and Detailing Phoenix AZ

  • Its not even dirty

  • wash only a small area at a time then rinse. And dont let anyone wash your car.

  • Good Video man... preferredcarcare com au

  • did he say 98 corvette ?

  • great explanation, good work!

  • Hmmmm... He broke the number one cardinal rule of washing cars: "do not wash your car in the sun"...

  • i have a question man....back a few months ago i did some pretty greasy work on my white integra. well as much as i tried to keep grease of the paint it was unavoidable especially on the front bumper where we would grab on to get out from under the car.....my question is how can i get this black layer that has seaped into the paint off of it?? will the clay bar solve that??

  • Thanks fr the great video and information!! Sweet ride too!

  • Doesn't the most expensive car wash cost ten times less money and time?

    thumps up

  • @veginamonster no a shitty walmart automatic car wash is $15 where i live and people who care about their cars get satisfaction from washing them so well!

  • @veginamonster in some areas yes but thats for people that don't really care about their cars having shitty soap spots. washing it yourself is better

  • @AmazingSuperStar1 I own a 2001 honda prelude h22a vtec and I only spend 10 dollars at the car wash since im only 16 and dont have much money and time

  • Chris Daughtry has a pretty sweet corvette ;)

  • if he has no catalytic converter how does he pass emissions???

  • @jc2367 through Howard Sterns asshole

  • @jc2367 You install them back in before the inspection, then afterwards you remove them and keep them in your garage till the next inspetion. ;)

  • @jc2367 His license plate said North Carolina in Part 2, so maybe they don't have such high emissions standards as California.

  • @jc2367 He has a South Carolina tag, they don't have inspections there. . .

  • I like how you automatically ignore the Armor All.

  • I don't know if it's the car, but are you like 6'5?

  • EFE 807 PLATE #

  • You spray the shit out of your car!!!

  • at 8:54 you said that some cheerleader scratch your car.. what product did you used 4 it??

  • arent u suppose to dry the car before adding lubricant

  • Hey what do you know I'm a fat guy that uses a beard to cover his double chin too!!

  • You own a corvette? I own a 2000 chevrolet cavalier : (

  • corvettes handle alot better then most imports

  • There's a hole in the bucket dear Liza dear Liza....

  • Thumbs up if at 2:00 you thought you accidentally restarted or clicked on another video. Damn ads.

  • Rainbow :D @2:39

  • was he being sarcastic when he says the GM body paint is good and that GM spent a lot of time on interior at 10:30? i seriously couldnt tell ha

  • @dashfront21 yes boys and girls that is textbook sarcasm. GM is known for their not so perfect paint and plastic interiors. I know because I own a corvette myself.

  • also, when washing the car, you want to wash/dry from the top of the vehicle to the bottom. he was all over the place with that wash mit, and drying towel. the bottom 1/3 of the car is the dirtiest, and you could pick something up from the bottom and swirl up the rest of the paint if your careless with where your washing.

at least he knew not to let anything touch the ground!!!

  • one problem i found in this video was his method of washing the vehicle. he just dunks his wash mitt in the rinse bucket, then dunks it in the soap bucket. you want to scrub off any dirt picked up in the mitt with your hand or with a grit guard while its in the rinse bucket, and do it again when its in the soap bucket.

  • that's fine and all but what gives you the right to show people how to clean their car when you said you don't even know how to?

  • Cleaning a car in the sun?

  • @manicbassa It's still okay to do that, you just get better results in the shade.

  • black majic is garbage

  • @propolishing so is your spelling

  • Most of the products that you bought are really low quality. I use only products from Griot's Garage. I have used everything. Zymol, Meguire's, and really expensive stuff that is for pros only. I now use Griot's Garage's products. NOBODY has more products for getting your car as close to professionally and safely cleaned than Griot's Garage. Trust me.

  • 9:00, Assuming you also mean, don't let a girl touch your car?

  • I actually enjoy watching your videos your really funny lol

  • I dont think your suppose to clay bar when the car is wet...

  • what breed of dog is that?

  • thanks, worked great!

  • Did u get money for endorsing auto zone?

  • @Christokerson did u watch the video when he said the sponsor the show? or the commercial embeded in his video? think before u ask buddy ;-)

  • That cars dirty? haha you should see my car.

  • For the cost of all that jazz to buy to do it yourself you could pay a pro and have a glass of iced tea at the house.

  • @h4723d yeah but once you have all the stuff you can wash it as many times as you want, the car wash will only do it once :P

  • @lightning608cp Yeah, I own a shop so I have to stick up for the pros. Plus, this guy bags on detail shops a little in part 2.

  • @h4723d Also if you own the sports car, at least I was this way, Its fun to wash the car and ends up being cheaper.

  • @h4723d Yes but these products all give you at least 5 washes and details. Thats is what you might call an investment. With a pro you have to pay everytime you want it detailed

  • @mrantis That's why I make the big bucks!

  • what kind of calipers? sparco ftw

  • list of products:

sinthetic shammy, wheel cleaner, clay bar kit, applicator pads, white towels, tire wet spray, black magic bullet 2 buckets. water, soap, and some brains

  • Hot water right?

  • Anyone know how much a black magic bullet cost?

  • Too much water, too little soap(: lol ijs. 2 oz of soap of every two gallons of water.

  • What's the two bucket system didn't really get it? :s

  • those 55 dislikes would disappear if you had some women do the washing

  • $500.00 wash job all thestuff he bought

  • you should get a water blade to wipe the water off the car it makes drying alot faster and you should also get exhaust cleaner

  • Does he dye his sideburns? Why do they look so strange? I also like how he just grabs stuff off of the shelf without being picky or even looking at the product.. worthless vid.

  • Go to Autozone's website and use these part numbers to get what he got to.

Clean Tools Absorber- Part Number 34900

Black Magic Wheel Cleaner- Part Number 5072608

Meguiar's Quik Detailer Kit- Part Number G1016

Autozone Applicator Pad- Part Number 880600

Autozone Cotton Terry Towel- Part Number 874300

Black Magic Tire Wet Spray- Part Number BC23220

Black Magic Pro Shine Spray Protectant- Part Number 31723

Laitner Grip It Power Brush- Part Number 10979

Laitner brush works better for less. Enjoy!

  • @rmalik23 you're my hero!

  • i got a boner from all the porsches

  • He should make a video on How to shave your head Properly.

  • @esecholo509 hahaahahahaaahahah

  • HIs claying technique at 7:40 was terrible. He was all over the place.

  • @JungleListSoldier How should you do it?

  • @Spacemonkeymojo Do one 2 foot by 2 foot area at a time in overlapping up down motions. He was bouncing all over the place and missing a lot of paintwork. Also don't clay in the sun. If you drop your clay bar, DISPOSE of it! Even if it looks clean. Last but not least Mothers clay bar is the best, followed by Meguirs, the cheaper brands are harder, more difficult to run across the paint, and leave more residue. Mother's leaves none and glides very easily.

  • @JungleListSoldier Cool, thanks for the info :)

  • I detailed a 2001 Vette Convertible the other day, man these things hurt your back to detail the exterior lol ITS SO LOW!

  • I wonder how much he spent on all those products.

  • dont you know that you always start with the roof and work your way down so you dont get dirt on your spunge and rubbing that on your paint

  • @Ylleboll Ya, but that's why he has the water bucket and soap bucket, to wash the dirt and debris out of the mitt.

  • @96FbodyLT1 Meguairs recommends drying car then claying. Im not sure if it matters.

  • @96FbodyLT1 NEVER!!

  • Not to mention you should always start washing your car from top to bottom.

  • This guy needs to get laid..

  • MMM.smells like cinnamon:)

  • great video, consumers need a list of products. Dont forget never leave wipers(wiper arm) in the air, risk of slamming and breaking glass. Love ur video tho! extremely helpful!

  • i clean my windows at last. because when i use sprays on the inside of the car the window is smeared all over again.

  • Nice video! This really helps! Oh and AWESOME car!!!!!!!

  • very helpful. this guys is cool

  • BEAUTIFUL CARS!!!!!

  • Why does he think hes funny at 6:40

  • @martysherlock

Well because it's illegal to not have catalytic converters which is a felony. He's also putting his license plate online. Pretty much it's the same thing as assaulting someone, taking a video, and posting it online...

  • @USGiorgi

Oh okay I jus thought there was a joke that I missed out on. My bad!

  • Absorber (Brand)? – synthetic chame

    Wheel cleaner

    Claybar Kit

    Applicator pads

    White towels

    Tire wet spray

    Black Magic bullet

    Interior Protectant

  • thumbs up for the dog!

  • It always amazes me what people do on you tube. It's entertaining..but most of the time it demonstartes their lack of understanding of common sense and physics.

So here are a few tips.

Don't use most products in direct sunshine (as per manufacturers instructions)

Never use a sponge on first washes...use a soft brush on end of hose. This allows all the grit to be washed off gently.

Never use a pressure washer it just pushes grit INTO the paint.

  • whats that gray car on the lift with no wheels @ 9:45?

  • @utctuning11 Looks to be a Porsche Carrera GT

  • You should wash your car from the top down, to avoid picking up sand and stuff thats on the bottom of your car. Then your dragging it back up...thats = scratching....Also.........if you spray window cleaner on and rub it dry.....you leave streaks you need to then buff over the window with another clean cloth after that.....Also dont use any silocone based protectants...Try 303 Aerospace or Poorboys Natural Look....Yes i do it every day for a job...

  • What kind of seats are those?

  • arent you supposed to wash your in the shade to avoid water spots from the soapy water drying to fast? or is there a technique

  • When he is wahing it there is no soap lather, why. i would think you would try to get as much as possible to lubricate the surface.

  • Shouldnt you use the chamoise to absorb the water before you use the clay?

  • if only you put as much effort into your car as your sideburns. and good job covering up your license plate once, your car has the exhaust note of a honda cr-v anyways....even if you dont actually have a catalytic converter, which you do

  • jaja si aca compras todo eso que compro el tipo te sale mas de 600 pesos, y es encerio

  • whatever you do, buy "CLAY MAGIC" and no other brand, you don't need a little towel or a small little bottle of wax added to the deal and have to pay extra for it...also clay magic will last longer so you can do more than one car ....on top of that it doesn't cost as much as the other ones....after you clay your car you can apply liquid wax made by meguiars spray it on buff it with a synthetic towel and you are done...

  • If you wouldn't try to show off your car to high school cheerleaders you wouldn't have swirls. When I see young girls advertising a car wash, me and my vette go the opposite direction real quick like. Also you should always wash the top half of your car first then move to the bottom half because the bottom half always picks up the majority of the dirt. I actually have two seperate sponges for this. Nice car ; )

  • u suck dick

  • @taran910 you are supposed to use a synthetic mitt...

  • some steps are missing here ...1.-before applying the lubricant for the clay magic the car needs to be dried completely after washing, 2.-when you clay your car you need to do a small section at the time, 3.- after claying your car you need to rinse off your car and dry it again, 4.- to dry and polish your car you have to use synthetic towels, you can buy them in packs( if you are lucky and you live by a costco or sams they sell them in packs of 20 towels, you will need that many !!!)

  • @besamemucho5 Spot on bro, this dickhead does not know how to wash a car.

  • he was washing the car in the sun u are not suppose to do that!!!

  • I would think that you should dry the car before spraying the lube for the clay bar..and cars shouldn't be waxed in sunlight..washing can be in the sun

  • great stuff, this video helped me a ton!

  • 2 buckets makes sense, but i'd have put some grit guards in the rinse-off bucket..

  • You know how to use a clay bar but you washed from bottom up?

  • @roulettered56 I think in this case he was probably just focusing on the narration and whatnot lol. might have just spaced out xD

  • 3:57 super gay laugh..lol

  • @Imran92693 lol!!!

  • absolutly the worst way to wash a car. he washed the roof and behind the tire all in the same motion and in the direct sunlight.

  • Should've left the flip up headlights on.

  • "OH LOOK, WE GOTTA HOLE IN THE BUCKET!" *followed by incredibly gay laugh*

  • @schanznthatotherkid hahahahahahaha my thoughts exactly!

  • Excellent video

  • This guy is such a tool with his car!

  • "oh hey, there's a hole in the bucket"

  • shouldnt you wash your car in the shade and not in direct sunlight?

  • @faskdlas Nope. that is polish and waxing..

  • @faskdlas doesnt really matter a is washed the same way, now waxing your car you have to in the shade, and once your cars surface is cool

  • @faskdlas well who has shade at their house, other than washing at night.

  • @faskdlas its a hell of a good workout trying to beat the sun ahah

  • dude i will wash ur car for u seriously thumbs up if u would for freee or very very low cost very very low :D :D

  • i saw a rainbow.. :) did u?

  • Is the clay that you use to get the imperfection out, is it reusable or is it just a one time use? How many days can the clay last?

  • @stantheman9002002 it can be reused, but you have to continuously fold the dirty side to the inside of the bar.

  • @xmdrifter thanks

  • those sideburns can poke an eye out

  • Knew the majority of these, but learned a few tips like the clay bar. You would be suprised though how many people doesn't know anything in this video

  • You need to listen to me this time instead of ignoring what I say and acting like my comments dont bother you, because I know they do, thats why your a feminist. When you come on youtube and complain about men your not helping your cause as a feminist, your just making men dislike you even more. If you want to men to respect you then you should be more like "HagiLover1 ". Sroll down and read her response. Thats the kind of woman that any guy can respect. Take note and tell your feminists friends

  • @WillyPhister I complained about piss poor STEREOTYPES, you festering puddle of bile. Jesus Christ. I was right in assuming you didn't read or understand a goddamn word I typed. I was also right to assume that you know jack shit about Feminism. Fuck off w/ your derailing tactics, bro. I won't chill my tone to make you comfortable OR act like getting respect from random internet misogynists is even a priority.

  • @Jeelzebub Okay then, thank you for your wonderful insight and worthwhile contribution to this video's comment section. Now that you've said what you have to say, Id like to kindly ask you to move on take your opinions elsewhere. Thank you :)
