  • Proggy nectar! Much love for the Shulman brothers. <3

  • gg, yes, and kc

    fuck yEAH

  • Was this song taken from their 1st Album? Got to be one their earliest works, for sure!

  • Prog-Blues-Genius

  • These cats were on the top of creativity back in the 70's..!

  • progressive rock are anything else like glam rock., i like (and i give respect) marc bolan, new york dolls, lou reed.. but still i like ray schulman´s voice

  • Sensational !!!!!!

  • 1:36

  • best song ever? maybe? why not?

  • this song sounds more fresh than any other shitty popular hit of our days

  • this is absolutely INSANEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

  • Okay, Why Not? and Peel the Paint have the best solos.

    Hands down.

  • eargasm

  • Singer Schulman sounds like Paul Stanley

  • The best!!!

  • "Why not climb a hill

    With someone who hates you

    Why not hate someone

Who climbs a hill with you"

These are words that I live by, everyday.

  • I repeat real music played by real musicians with real talent.

Oh and all their own work too.

  • 3 people have shit on there thumbs they were trying to fling off from haveing there thumb up there asses.

  • WOW!!!!

  • I HATE my generation. I would give up anything just to grow up as a teenager in this era. Those of you who did are extremely lucky, and i'm jealous!!

  • @RockWillLiveOn Haha! I am too. When people look at my musical tastes, they must think I was cryogenically frozen back in the 70's and recently thawed out!

  • @RockWillLiveOn But then you'd be old like me. 48!

  • @redwiddle Lool great point, I feel somewhat of the same as RockWillLiveOn, but I see the great potential we can do to revive music.. look at Esperanza Spalding

  • Essa música é muito legal!

    Rock progressivo é demais :)

Outra banda legal de rock progressivo é o King Crimson

  • @emano05 Cara outra boa é Rush. Muuito bom.

  • @NolikargAven Rush é uma ótima banda! Me lembro que a primeira vez que vi eles, achei que eles fossem britânicos! É que algumas músicas deles me lembram Led Zeppelin. Eu iria em um show deles, sem dúvida!

  • @emano05 Pois é! Eu estive vendo esse dias uma banda chamada Van Derr Graff generator.Essa é muito boa também.Veja ''Eperor in the war room'' uma das melhores deles.

  • Heavy Cream influence here.

  • The tempo change at 4:11 gives me goosebumps! Every single time!

  • @BellyflopWhappscragg Yeah. Fuck yeah! But you fucked up the surprise! hahaha

  • what a bad ass song.. awesome!!

  • great flute playing and great solo. hope i spoke english better, so i could understand the lyrics.

anyway, i think its about singing cliche lyric's songs. but cant relate it with the hill climbing part

  • "Why not climb a hill with someone who hates you?

Why not hate someone who climbs a hill with you?"

More thought provoking in TWO LINES than most entire albums

  • @pentherapy Not true! Kesha is SOOO thought provoking! I always think "Why would someone listen to this?" :D

  • This song was my fav song when I was 10 years old, Always takes me back in time, to where I was sitting and thinking about how beutiful the flute in the song was :D

  • So heavy and that medievalish flute-scene is awesome :) GG have wonderful contrasts in their compositions.

  • @RuojaPerkele

    Indeed they have!

  • This have to be my all-time favorite Gentle Giant song. The part at 1:37 really kindles the wellsprings of my well-being. A wonderful combination of wits and style went into the making of this song! :)

  • Totally Agree, my fav Gentle Giant song !!

  • best band ever!

  • Why not? Why yes!!!!!!! Yeah!!!!

  • Insane album! The best!
