No not normally, but if you were in a previous session nd yu shut the aircraft down, then hit ESC taking you back to the default home page, you can then enter another flight session with the aircraft still in the shut down position. If that's what youre asking.
I personally use it for flight training and so do others, Some even go as far as making a mock cockpit for training on, Even Real pilots use it.
It does get boring but it's the thrill of knowing that You took off, Maintained the intended altitude, Airspeed, Heading etc and then Landing safely at the destination plus there are built in missions and tasks to motivate You into using it more.
He's a mechanic, but he knows how to fly because of his experiences. He taxied it to parking once because it was in the middle of the taxiway once, and I was in the copilot seat. It was neat.

I think he means a hanger or taxi from the apron.

@Rcracer867 When you pick a airport you should look at the tabs and heir should be an option it says Active runway parking spot etc.
