This is a real echo, and something proven over time. It works .. but I may be listening with time aged ears - I'll admit that. Pretty song, but the chord progression sounds disjointed, as if this song was put together from several songs of different creative eras. A pleasant Franken-Song, if you will.

@DancingSpiderman Disjointed? to me its sounds like a hangover of disco progressions which is right for the time. There are no musical rules fortunately but sadly no rules are being broken today.

As an English guy I am now a little sorry I was in the U.S. in the the early 80's and didn't find out about the RAH Band until just a few years ago! On the upside, I do know The Rippington's, which not many UK people know, who are also a great Jazz band!! (Search on YT!)
