@a2davefan It is because CBS is a partner of some sort. It's not like Youtube goes along inspecting individual clips and deciding which ones they're going to put ads on. If anything, CBS would be the one with the choice to opt out of putting an ad on the video.
These commercials are just so merciless - advertisers want to smack their ads into our face! Booooo!!! I won't ever patronize their products. I understand that YT and TV networks need advertisers but I hope they follow the format of that chocolate brand (was it Butterfinger?) where their commercials are strategically placed outside the fringes of the vids! not anywhere within or right on top of the vid that we wanna watch! Booooo! :(
