I have the exact same model, they were built at Usung Factory Korea 2004. They are the most superior G-400 faded produced. With neck binding and faded parts, it looks great. I'd put it up against any Gibson SG any day; whoever managed the making of this model cared a lot

@iBankai145 the gibson sgs are pretty light (2-3 kgs i think) well the epis arent made of woood (theyre plastic as far as ive seen) but theyre pretty much the same weight all in all theyre very light

@gtamodman122 The epis acutally are made of wood. They are made of solid mahogany. Just not as good as the mahogany used by gibson.

@Macsk8ing hello no it's all the same quality it's just because the faded finish take's less time to process and what not but ya i like the faded version alot better then cherry one because epiphone's cherry finish look's ugly to me but when it come;s to gibson i love the cherry and black finishe's to me the faded gibson's look cheap but i hoped i help thank's

i dont understand i have the same vintage 400 but there are some online with the gold letterings like urs and it also has the white taping on the neck wat yr is ur guitar from? or wen u got it.

@hugokickfeen89 Hello thx for your comment so like you was saying my guitar is a 2004 model at that time they made them with the gold letters and the pearl inlays and the white binding and white nut with the gloss headstock but epiphone stop making them like that in 2007 so now they have black binding and a black nut also with the matte fingish headstock so there you go i hoped i help
