Ofc there were ways to counter the halt very effectively, in fact it made the game easier, but what I meant was that you cant just run in front of the enemy like you're in a middle of parade.
Gotta thank to the people who invented easy mode, takes forever for the enemy to recognize you. Anyway even in this mode the boy got no merits. When I look at this video I am thinking of commandos 1 being a better game. Try this on it and you'll wind up dead in milliseconds. First you get halt, then you get a bullet in between the eyes.
@redditdude in easy mode as fast as your finger is that fast the rifle will shoot . As a matter of fact you can beat a battalion of men in easy mode as long as you have bullets for that rifle :D

It's a easy setting. The enemies take a long time to react. In hard mode, this tactic won't work.
