Islam, as you may not know, is a religion that promotes death or subjugation to non-Muslims, execution of homosexuals and those who leave Islam, flogging unmarried adulterers and stoning married adulterers to death, and the abolition of democracy in favor of medieval Islamic law. So that's why a strip club is okay but a mosque isn't.

@ritamalik Wow, good on you! I had a mostly western upbringing, and so to me it wasn't as difficult to leave Islam as it probably was for you, seeing as how you are from Iran. Are you worried about going back to visit family? Sometimes, I have to pretend I am still Muslim. I make my apostasy far more known online than I do in public. The Sheikhs always told us that Kafirs will try to hurt Muslims, but they don't care if you are Muslim, Christian, Jew, etc. Muhammad was wrong. They don't judge.

@Sortsdam Thanks! My family is not happy about it but they are very relaxed people and love me anyway. You see they are pretty bad Muslims themselves which mean they are good and normal people ;) But when I was back in Iran I couldn't openly talk about leaving Islam in public of course! But luckily I never really had to. And you are right! When I was in school my religion teacher always used to pray: "God, please make all Kafirs become Muslim or kill them!" Islam spreads hate!

So no, I don't judge the religion based on its followers. I judge the religion based on the religious texts and on the life of Muhammad.
