um....you are just high....this is hilarious. go play in the mud bitch, is that kid serious? i bet this was done in like 1980, this is complete crap.have you ever heard of POWERPOINT
I might not consider myself anti-social, since I think that's a bit extreme. As I mentioned, I speak to whome every I want whenever I want.
It's a shame! I always thought there was something wrong with me from an early age, because every day, I would get people addressing their concern over how quiet I was, and that it wasn't "HEALTHY!"
Socializing/ communicating with others brings comfort, knowledge, and dependency!
Every since I was a kid, I never had much friends, so I never really depended or relied on others' help, suggestions, etc. I've always managed to get through any obstacle.
Now, when I'm in any situation, I don't complain, cry, or run away from the situation. I know what needs to be done, and I take care of business.
Don't worry, you're not going to turn into a monster if you don't socialize 24/7!
I consider myself anti-social, but I'm not going to let anyone tell me it's a disorder.
High school was tough, with the pressure of fitting in, but as I went to college, I realized there was nothing wrong with me, no matter how others treated me, as if I didn't belong.
Socializing is important, but not necessary to survive. I choose not to socialize with people outside of work.
Don't believe that medication is the answer. Pharmaceutical industry is a multi-billion dollar industry.
there's a big difference between anti-social personality disorder and what you're describing. What you're describing is being asocial, not anti-social. Asocial means you don't like to socialize. Anti-social means you have no empathy, will lie/cheat/hurt/manipulate/kill to fulfill your own self-interest, are impulsive -- and generally anti-social people have good social skills (which they use mostly for manipulation)
Who the F^#*()CK says being anti-social will want you to "lie, cheat, manipulate, hurt, or kill..."?
Put the encyclopedia away!
Let's break down the word 'anti-social'.
It simply means you're anti social. You are against socializing. It doesn't prove that you will be 'EVIL' as you put it.
The point I was trying to make was that although humans are social beings, we have relied on one another to survive. To a certain degree it's true, however, only when it comes to work & school...
The point I am trying to make is that you're posting a comment on a video about anti-social personality disorder, and what you're talking about has nothing to do with anti-social personality disorder.
no i haven't been, but i just recently found a list of the symptoms and realized that i have them. I thought everyone pretended to have feelings until i saw the list.
I haven't been diagnosed with APD, but I've got 6 out of the 8 symptoms. I am 15, and the symptoms have just started manifesting themselves. I wish I could feel things, so I pretend they're there so that maybe one day they will be.
I'm seriously tempted to say hello, Dani, so here it goes.
Back on topic, it is videos like this that make the disorder such a jerk. Honestly, and you won't get that word out of my mouth often even online, I don't see the big deal. I've never met a person that was themself. Everyone hides behind masks. So why persecute those who fake emotions? It is yet another bulwark of disguise.
I agree! As for me, I can no longer tolerate most people. People are the most destructive creatures on earth, destroying each other over power, greed, and money. Fortunately for technology, people will never need to meet in person. Everything can be done behind a computer. It's already happing... -) Online dating, groceries, vehicle services - Teleconferencing - Youtube, Twitter, etc. - Online College - Working remotely - Cyber sex - Cyber warfare It's inevitable!
