  • I love this sermon!!!I wish i can get this album!!

  • Saturday mornings my mom would put on her gospel album ( the one they advertised constantly on BET.) This sermon was my favorite to listen to while cleaning. You know you had to clean before you went outside to play! Ahhhh...memories!

  • man he telling the truth!

  • Great Pastor, even greater man. Growing up as a youth in SJBC, I had many lessons learned back then, that I am beginning to overstand now as a man. God bless your soul Reverend Smith, and thank you!

  • My daughter tore my cassette up last week! I had the set since I was a teen! Im in my thirties now....so here I knew I'd find it...!

    Thanks!

  • @ MrEbonyman how can you make a comment like that? That is just stupid. If you read your Bible and when the preach gives where they is reading from and is preaching then you will be able to understand what the preacher is talking about Because the Bible says you have to look out for mean people even in the church. The Bible says what we must do in the church and the dogs he is using you do see in the church. Because the first time I watched this I even got what he was saying w/o scripture.

  • I am a Hebrew Israelite but I remember listening to this sermon when I was a child.

  • Oh my more more more.....

  • I heard this sermon on a Gospel record my mom bought from T.V. when I was a pre-teen back in the 80's lolol....Part of the commercial had this sermon in it.

  • THATS WHAT YOU CALL A LAZY DOG!

  • SWEEP AROUND SWEEP AROUND YOUR HOOOOMEEE...CAN I GET A WITNESS...THAT JESUS...WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN YOUR LIFE...WHO IN THE HELL LEFT THE GATE OPEN...Man I knew the WHOLE commercial...

See it's the little things...we remember a tiny pieces and others add to it...and we're all smiles remembering.

  • @Cyrious Hellz yeah!! Besides me and my ywo older brothers, i only know i other guy who knows that commercial

  • Who in the hell left the gate open!!!! Now I need to find the commercial... Classic

  • I can recall being a child watching this with my mother and father. During that time I did not understand. I remember asking them "why is the preacher talking about dogs in a church". My mother told me that when I got older that this would all make sense. Now being 30 plus some numbers, I understand.. I am constantly having to WATCH THEM DOGS!!!! Sending an e-mail to my mother so she will be able to view this classic. Thank you for posting. Stay Blessed

  • This guy is beautiful. Right on.

  • My mom had this on tape!

  • Thanks for posting.

  • I absolutely love these sermons....old time preaching at its best!

  • Nothing wrong with the ee nails. LOL :)

  • This is the kind of nonsense we can hear from Black preachers! I am black, but I believe in the clear Exposition of the Biblical text! Is it no wonder that Blacks are for the most part, Biblically Illiterate? This is shameful and the people don't know any better. God was not glorified in this nonsense!

  • Is the commercial posted on here?

  • I thank God for this word if anyone know where I can buy this one at please let me know...

  • @AlovelySpirit you can find this on itunes but its the audio version which is very different. it is much more serious but just as good.

  • @MrNightDeacon Thank you May God Bless and Keep You always

  • LOL! How did I miss this? I know... I went to Catholic School.

  • Whew, this is a blast from my past! My grandmother used to play it on her "8-track record player" as she called it! We all had to sit down and be quiet and let her listen. And every now and then she'd say, "Ya'll kids hear 'dat? This man is preaching! God don't like no mess!" We didn't appreciate it then but I sure do now!

  • My mother had it on tape.

  • it is so funny how 20 years ago he was preaching about the same dogs we have in the church now.

  • so love this sermon

  • I would like to thank whomever posted this video. This is my grandfather, He is greatest man I have ever known, and has always been powerful and larger than life to me. This is great, and I just want to thank you for sharing him all over again.

  • um SabalIwalum. what in the world does 1 Timothy 2:11 have to do with this message?

  • The scripture that he is refering to is not 1Tim 2:11 it is Philippians 3:2. The scripture says " beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. If you take a look at this scripyure this whole sermon will make more sense, be blessed

  • U guys @ da top quinteros, don't realize there was only one perfect man. Every other man falls short of God's glory. Therefore everything in the Bible is not 100% solid. Me personally, never truely met God until a woman led my church. I never felt the spirit until a woman touched me during ministry. Man has been found 2 keep things est for man. Spiritually sound n free thinking women were hunted down, killed, and mocked throughout history as evil monsters, I love my bible, but f*ck pauls verse

  • I had this CD and my other preacher friends and throughly enjoyed it!!

  • yesgod is good all time . preacuhed it

  • Ive been looking for the for years!! I never expected to find in on video. Thank you and god bless.

  • My assistant pastor preached a message titled Watch Them Dogs... But she went a different way lol

  • Nunya, she cant be a pastor. Read about the qualifications of a elder, bishop, or pastor. Women, biblicly speaking can not be pastors.

  • I've read them. And it's all left up to your personal interpretation/revelation of the scriptures. Translation makes the different. However, what I'm not going to do is get into a discussion/argument/debate over this foolishness.

If thats the way you feel about it quinteros... then to each his or her own.

  • My intention was never to be offensive, nor do I wish to enter into a debate or argument. I decided years ago to let God's Word speak for itself without any interpretation, in other words scripture will interpret scripture; when rightly divided. The Lord inspired holy men to record what we know as the Bible. Our job is to read it and obey it! Paul states that the position of a Church leader is to be a man and that a woman is not to teach or usurp authority over a man. I didn't write it god did.

  • Oh I'm not offended. I stopped being offended by stuff like that long ago. I'm glad that you don't want to argue or debate. You have a blessed one!

    :-)

  • And the bible is god's word interpreted by man. Your job is to worship and praise him and using the parts of the bible that help you get through the day. And if you wanna be sexist, that's in there too, not because its God's word but because it was written by man

  • you also said paul said it! No debate but god said he have no resp[ectable persons.

  • Wow!I cant believe you think that way!

  • God's grace IS SUFIICIENT
