I respectfully disagree. The blob is a grade-A horror film that is genuinely creepy. The pop song was only to tie in to the marketing. I find it distracts from the gravitas.

@tylrswftrox33 The movie isn't about the effects, it's about the characters and story. Steve McQueen is so great in this movie he deserved an Oscar.
