In a sense yes, because I had the camcorder on, the iBook running iStopMotion, so...It's a time lapse. I didn't use a standard camera because if I used that ever time, I'd most likely kill the camera by how much I do time lapse films. I have made a few more that I haven't posted.
Thanks. Its always good to hear that someone likes my style. Mainly because it seems people only subscribe to the extremely simple animators. I wish I got on the ball earlier.
thats true all the small animators like us don't get the respect they always say "well u not as good as such and such" we all have different styles and and just to point out I'm the only person who uses purple clay people
That last guy was so good. How do you attach the heads to the bodies? Can't wait for this movie. What software do you use, like how you fast forward your vids so the vid isnt like a day long, lol. Yeah, like what software do you use for claymation, or do you use the same software for video and claymation. Hard to explain.
Well, as you can see, I use the K'nex sticks when I am modeling the head, then I gently twist it off, and put a shorter stick into the neck region of the body, and slide the head on.
I use iStopMotion for everything. What I do is use the time lapse mode, unfortunately I have a slower computer so, I get those annoying streaks in the capture--when I get a new MacBook, I won't have that problem. It does that because I am moving pretty fast.
Im guessing that iStopMotion is for mac for 2 reasons you said you got a mac mini and the i(apple always uses i like iphone, imovie yadada etc.), So is it something that you download or buy because I would like to see that because I got a mac also.
You seriously don't have iMovie? Dude. Do a Spotlight search really quick on your computer for iMovie. All new Macs come with iLife, that's how it's alway been.
Yes i do have imovie its just that I have the 08 version and there is no green screen or cut and copy so that i can add different backgrounds buuuuut, I just found out how wit out downloading any program so yea forget about the question.
