  • wow never thought much of Thomas Stewart but he is doing really good here.

  • I normally have issue with the way Leonard Bernstein handled Wagner (so far), but I have to say, from my perspective, he absolutely nailed this one. In fact, it sounds nearly identical in style to the Solti-Decca recording, which to me is rather a good thang. Mhm.

  • You can see the influence of Wagner on Philip Glass here. Especially Glass's score for Hamburger Hill.

  • @garfreed IF by influence you mean direct plagirism then yes.
