You're probably right djtorque ... most tv performances were lip-synched in those days ... but if you compare this version with 1983 video version, there is a noticeable difference. Could it be a combination of live and recorded tracks or is this simply another version?

I actually recently aquired the LP of Heartland, it had this version on it. The drums sound different, but apart from that, its the same deal.

Dave Sterry does look a lot like Ben Stiller, people have made that assumption.
On another note, this is such a great live performance, sounds almost too good. I actually sometimes prefer this version, rare for me.
