Guys I seriously need help. I can't play Generals Zero Hour or ShockWave online. Each time I try to to join it says "Failed to join - the game is a different version" and all the games in the lobby are darkened. My Zero Hour is 1.4 and SW is 0.95 with the latest patch, I play on The First Decade. PLEASE HELP.

@Mr1912Titaniclover in skirmisch you have to change some files in IZNIh something (download final big and open it with it) then to generals challenge and general 9 (or something) enable at start yes. for challenge search download leang challenges zero hour. (on youtube westwood's vid) extract them in my documents,zero hour,maps and then play them at unofficial maps. (you can fight infantry general =) ) i hope this helped ya

the UN general is General Leang or the boss general. she is not playable character in normal C&C general zero hour but if u downloaded the mod name 'Global Crisis' you could use UN general. it is the combination of Chinese, gla and the US technology. you will get F35 as new fighter beside the normal US fighter bomber and Chinese MIG. For superweapon you would get Nuke, particle canon and instead of having scud storm you will get cruise storm.

She was not the UN general in regular ZH, AGC heavily modified Leang... resulting in UNgen, in regular ZH she was CHI supw gen and in shockwave she is split into two (playable) Special weapons Gen and (not playable) Boss Gen

I mean, Leang is a neat general it looks like, and the mod looks kinda neat, but honestly, trying to watch that movie was very hard. For example, what happened to those 4 battlemasters near the beginning of the game. One moment, they're fine and dandy, the next they're all dead...?

Reinstall the whole game( zero hour) then download the zero hour 1.4 patch. Then reinstall shockwave and then instal the newest shockwave patch! That will fix the problems i think!

General Leang is very powerful, but they balance this out by giving her smaller power plants. You have to build a ton of these large but less powerful plants to get anything significant for a base. Flame weapons rock though. The napalm strike is very cool.

Yeah, Shockwave is by far the best Generals mod. Rise of the Reds has a chance to be just as good as soon as the full version is reached but shockwave is way ahead atm.
