hi a border riever was historaclly a cattle rustler in the "debateable lands"of the scottish english border a few hundred years ago,an albion is a truck made in glasgow till around the sixtys,the song is about a trucker doing a run from glasgow to the borders, his truck called theborder riever, sure as the rising sun is on albions badge and is there company motto

@ardbdkd The truck manufacturer Albion made a version called the Reiver. The company motto was "SURE AS THE SUNRISE" and inspired the sunrise badge on the radiators. However later badges were in blue rather than red.
