okay, if this is all to happen in 2012, many things have happened since the calender was created, yes it has been very acurate many disasters have happened which it had predicted but it never said anything, it is just a calender also made to be a piece of art!

it wasnt made to be a piece of art, it was made to be a celestial time keeper which is much more precise than our calendars today. it just so happens that it is very beautiful in its design. they maya never claimed that dec.21 st 2012 would bring the end of the world only the end of a very long age which will transition us into another very long age. more than likely the age of aquarius as known in most religions and in astronomy

its called radio carbon dating and it is a really precise science, but no one can convince anyone of what they choose to believe. with radio carbon dating, fossils of man like creatures suddenly switch from neanderthals to a more evolved primate.
