Vaporeon - Easy Flareon - Medium Jolteon - Hard What he choses depends on many of the first two battles with Blue you win/lose/avoid [but I'm sure you knew that]. Similar in R/B If you choose... Bulbasaur - Easy Squirtle - Medium Charmader - Hard The 'difficulty levels' have little hinderence on the game as long as you're a good trainer.

@kofi246 Maybe if you evolve your eevee, it does determine Blue's choice. I don't know about that to agree or disagree. But I know what I said is also true. If you loose to Blue in Oak's lab but win againt him on Route 23, then he evolves it into Flareon. If you loose both times, he evolves it into Vaporeon and if you win both times he evolves it into Jolteon.

@Weapon0fCho1ce No, it is possible to store him on PC. However, my Pikachu was my main asset against 2nd Gym Leader Misty, since you don't run into a lot of grass Pokemon, and no other electric ones either. Used Pikachu until I got Zapdos, even used him to catch Zapdos :P

You can choose Gary's Eevee's evolution by how you do in battles

with Gary's Eevee. To get Vaporeon simply lose the first battle

with Gary in Oak's Lab after you deliver Oak's Parcel. Then, win

the battle near Viridian City on the route to the Pokemon League.

To get Flareon, win the match with Gary at Oak's lab, then lose

any of the other matches, except for any of them past Silph Co. \

To get Jolteon, win all of the matches.
