hommage à celui que je considère comme le plus grand réalisateur de tous les temps et que l'on n'est pas prêt d'égaler, même pas ceux qui tentent de faire pâles copier/coller !
@Gotsupermilk Well there is the possibility. All of his movies from Lolita onward managed to arouse controversy for putting certain aspects of humanity and society under the lens.
@Gotsupermilk You're the 9 year old here. There is no proof, and I'm not saying it happened. However, you are saying that because there is no proof, it is an IMPOSSIBILITY, and I'm saying it's a possibility because there's no proof stating otherwise. Please don't bother responding because you're a hypocrite who writes off theories without proof in order to subscribe to alternate theories without proof.
@SeekerInTheSchy I understand what your theory is but when the man died in his sleep (AS FAR AS I AM AWARE OF) I don't think someone killed him. Honestly if he had been found dead you theory would make more sense.
I can express my feelings only if we meet ever. I didn't cry on the outside when i saw this but internally it was a crying odyssey . I miss you Kubrick :'(
An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
@Greaser73 Many dont regard that film as true Kubrick since Kirk Douglas had basically everything to do with it. Kubrick and him had a lot of creative differences.
Great tribute, one of the best out there! I like the way you found similitudes between the different Kubrick movies...I know it must have taken a very long time to edit it and you've done a superb job in that. I'm planing to do a Tribute to Kubrick myself, and I hope it will turn out as good as yours.
Kubrick vs Scorsese? Fatality Kubrick Wins. And one of the greatest utube vids ive ever seen u really know your stuff and was a pleasure watching it.NOW I HAVE TO WATCH CLOCKWORK.YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAA
This is really well edited. Kubrick is my all time favorite and this video makes me want to watch every film all over again. They never get old. I love that you pointed out his signatures, the reaction shots, the wide angle tracking. Well done!
Very nice tribute and it seems that you have put a lot of effort onto it! Well done, we Kubrick fans thank you for that video ;) I loved the last part where you placed some scenes going backwards through HAL eye's...
Wonderful piece of filmmaking. Congrats! Especially loved the split screens featuring similar shots (The circles! Who would've seen that? Well, you, obviously!)
I just dont know what to say... Stanley Kubrick my favorite movie director, 2001, my favorite movie ever, Dead Can Dance my favorite band and music ever... so its like heaven to me, thank you, thank you, so much!
Wow. Great work on this. Definitely one of the best tributes ever. I don't think Kubrick intended all of the similarities, but they happened because that was his mode of storytelling. Just as writers and composers return to themes, it's logical that directors should return to a familiar mode of storytelling. Excellent analysis of Kubrick's films.
Hi Richard, I don't know if you appreciate comics, but your tribute has detected a lot of symmetry, simbolism, the persistence of elements and coincidences on the Kubrick movies. Since he used to be very methodical and perfeccionist, surely it was intencional. Well, I find the graphic novel 'Watchmen' very 'kubrickiesque' - your tribute sometimes remembered the comic - and I am pretty sure you will enjoy it. Both Kubrick and Alan Moore, who wrote Watchmen, share a lot of common characteristics.
I'm glad you're considering using "Spartacus" in the HD version, if only because it shows how Kubrick, even when he didn't pick the script or the story or the cast, still can put a stamp on a film. Those perfectly square Roman cohorts coming over the hill in the first big battle scene are to me a classic Kubrick moment; slow, deliberate, chillingly powerful. A classic Kubrick moment. :-)
This is a really impressive piece of work. It's really amazing in that it effortlessly shows Kubrick's style. It could replace a weeks worth of film class. I'm really in awe of this. Fantastic job.
An absolutely amazing piece of work that should be cited anytime someone wonders why people are so enraptured by Kubrick's work. If you don't understand why after this, you're a lost cause.

It is never creating art, when you take other artist's work and put it together in a different way. It's only sampling. There's nothing genuine about this clip at all.
@EinerVonDenen Jeff Buckley covering Leonard Cohen's "Halleluhah". Case closed. Also - I have more backup if you want to continue to be ridiculously hyperbolic.
@EinerVonDenen you know what... I sorta agree. it's beautiful, and he isn't claiming it's "art", just a tribute. But I thought some of the connections made were a bit simplistic, a bit off. But it's still quite charming, and took more work than I could muster. Cheers!
Absolutely fantastic. You've done one of the all-time geniuses proud. What a great video. It reminded me why I love not just Kubrick, but the art of film when it's put into capable hands. Thank you.
