Actually, I prefer Brooks to Alston in 2K9.

Brooks is the one guy I go to when shooting 3's, moreso than Battier and Ron.

Plus, he's a lot faster than Alston. And seems to be better on the inside.

Even at the beginning of the season, I used Brooks as my starter and Alston as the backup.

Lowry as a backup is awesome on 2K9, but I feel like they could give them better stats, as well as Scola Landry. I can't seem to do anything with them with the new updates

I haven't updated anything, but I can make Landry pretty useful on offensive boards/inside scoring, and Scola sucks at passing and sucks at scoring if guarded so I have to drag defenders away from him to score with him, otherwise I leave everything up to McGrady, Yao, Alston, and Luther Head (haven't fixed the rosters since I want to finish my season first)

Artest and Battier rarely get over 15 lol

Hmm... Yea, Landry is REALLY good on the game, even if his overall is worse than Scola's. Every franchise I start with the Rockets, he usually ends up being the only Rocket I keep on my team from the current roster. Scoring and rebounding is so easy with him.

See what I do is EVERY YEAR I make a few big trades because I like playing with a different personnel every year. But I usually keep one or two from the original roster.

But yea, Scola's stats are way under.

Whoever is a Rockets fan and misses Rafer is an absolute moron. Trading him was the best move EVER. Rafer went to Orlando to do just the same that he was doing with the Rockets, he was 1-9 and eight assists. Eight assists was decent, but there was times where he wouldnt even get assists and he would just turnover the ball and launch up shot after shot and miss time and time again.
