Yup! Goosebumps every single time I see it (and hear it). So if Ramin Djawadi doesn't get some major awards for the musical score it will be as if the world has gone deaf!

@TrolloftheTube You really think ADWD was awesome? I thought it was a total disaster and because of it no longer have any confidence in the series returning to the glory of the first three books. I think Martin simply doesn't give a damn anymore, and is intent on cranking out giant tomes of filler until the end of his days.

Well, it was a little slow around the middle, but all of Bran's chapters were great, I thought. Davos's chapters were good too, and so were Theons. The last few chapters of the book were pretty good too. I really thought it was mainly Daenerys and Tyrion who were holding the book back, he should have gotten rid of at least half of their chapters.

@melosebrainuhoh Im confused, I read the 5 book in a row, and I understood that "A Feast for Crows" its kinda hard to read mainly because it should have been included in ADWD as a whole and shorter. But ADWD was amazing, interesting and put the series into a more fantasy and mystical area (with you know what...I dont wanna spoil). For me, it seems that everything is escalating to an epic war with The Others. I think thats the only way for the realm to have piece : An Alliance .

@josetato ADWD was 100 pages of plot spread across 1,000 pages of filler. Tyrion's story was abysmal and his character went from being witty and cunning to crude and tiresome. Daenerys went from being a badass to a love-starved twit. Jon sat around for chapter after chapter thinking about how he knew nothing. None of the new characters were noteworthy. Particularly Quentyn -- his chapters were brutal.

Martin's just milking the cow now. He no longer cares.

@ebusitanus Seems Martin likes the wyvern type. The dragons in his Hedge Knight comics had only 4 limbs as well.  Anyway at the end of the 1st book Drogan was described as being black & scarlet .

I finally got to see the final episode two days ago. I've watched this scene at least twenty times since then. I can't stop. For years I've been dreaming about how a movie or TV adaptation could possibly do this scene justice, but they fucking NAILED it. When the dragons start singing I get chills, every time.

The kings of Westeros can amass all the armies and territory they want, but it won't do a lick of good when Daenerys has just given birth to three nuclear fucking warheads with wings.
