The Food Network has really gone downhill. It has become more about food competition and discovering "food stars." I couldn't care less. I just want to see good food being prepared. Keeping it simple was what worked.

Be guarded about the validity of his diners reviews. I've been to two of his diners out here in Orange County, California and the quality of the two diners are laughably plain. The problem is when Guy munches on a sandwich, he'll never say anything bad but just compliments. Also, written reviews of his showcase diners are not all thumbs up.

I Love Guy's show, he does a great job or at least I think so. As for being gay I don't know and I don't like gays or Lesbians and it isn't for us to judge him. The Bible forbids Gays. What if it was a female would you feel the same way? The way he acts and dresses may or may not show that he is or is not gay it might just be his personality. You nor I am God, so we don't have the right to judge him. God will do it in his time. The producers just want to replace him with some J*w or other.

@BearStar1 He has two sons that I know of.I love the show and have only eaten at 2 places he recomended,White Castle Diner on Canal St in Chicago and The Brownstone Diner in Jersey City.Both were great!!!I have driven by a few that he did recomend in other cities.

The Food Network has really gone downhill. It has become more about food competition and discovering "food stars." I couldn't care less. I just want to see good food being prepared. Keeping it simple was what worked.

It's a good thing they started Cooking Chennel (like MTV did MTV2 to actually have music stuff). As for Guy Fieri, he seems like a fairly decent person to me, though I can understand why he irritates some...but I don't get the absolute hate coming from others.

I'm not usually a game show person, but MTWI keeps me on my toes-- very refreshing. Plus new HOLIDAY episodes coming up this season. I wish I could go on! I always get so panicked for them...lol

I agree Guy Ferry is a douche. I just got tired of the poser hype. What started me on the downside was perpetual overuse of "bad boy". Now it's the lame-ass hair and bling. The total character just sucks. I do like the drive-ins and diners, some spectacular (oh no, Tyler Florence buzz word) eats at those places. I do like Tyler's cooking much better. And yep, Jaques is respectfully enjoyable to watch.

@norb1937 in food service you can't wear jewelry you have to wear gloves if your hands will touch the food, or you only have to wash your hands if you will be using utensils. but if you are referring to his own cooking show, then no, he doesn't, it's his preference.
