Yep they are Moghito, they are heavy and make you remember you are using swords!
Bokken do not even come close, this is how it should be ;)

Are those iaito or the swords specifically used for kata at embu (forgot their name)?
They look heavy -how do they compare to using bokken, in your opinion?

Thats because kendo kata is closer to kenjutsu than modern kendo.

ehhh. that's one thing i don't like about real sword sparring, it's either too slow or too dangerous unless one has proper training equipment. ex dulled swords with no edge.
