Being religious means that u believe in a higher God, appreciate all of Gods glorious creations and that u realize the fact that we as humans are all equal, regardless of level of intelligence. Yes, these particular Jewish parents are racist bigots, blasphemers, and of course clearly incompetent people. Sorry to interrupt your anti-Semitic slurs and Israel bashing but:
1) this was clearly staged and realize that while the Orthodox discourage intermarriage, the conservative and reform movements have seen intermarriage as an opportunity to 'adopt' new members to our tribe.
2) Did it every occur to you that there ARE Italian jews? (ie my grandfather)
