  • let us be honest guys and girls..Get in Stevie!!

  • Honkey dude blasting to the right of Stevie's backside on opening. Check out the pipe.

  • FACT: That blind guy is Stevie Wonder

  • Comment removed

  • FACT: that's Michael Sembello on Guitar

  • WoW what a tight groove, Stevie, the drummer and the rest of the pack performed that tune amazingly.

  • that drummer is off the chain!, luv stevie!

  • ahh this is what i am talking about no autotune bullshit no unfair crap that artists have these days this is not that crap this is real music just like what i wanted for a long time

  • Mr Stevie Wonder, what an actual musical genius, i'm so glad that he isn't like a few modern days artists who sound completely different live, i would love to see stevie live so much, thank you stevie.

  • Thats a young Stevie Wonder and he only got better

  • The genius on a time travel, predicting all kinda nonsense nowadays !

  • Unbelievable Stevie Wonder Is the Best !!!

  • musical gennius

  • 18 ppl are superstitious

  • that's how it's done!!!

cap'n kangaroo on the guitar? Tight!

  • Love the drums here, though there is a huge hole in the song without the brass.

  • Super tight version! I do have to say, however, that the horns are so key that it does suffer just a bit without them. But then the backup vocalists really step up, so maybe it's a draw after all?

  • is that afro-lil' wayne on drums :D?

  • 17 people... whatever

  • stevie phenomenal as always

anyone know who the drummer is here?

  • @dholbaby dennis davies

  • unbeliveable

  • Phil sent me... Where's Ron?

  • Holy crap! I'm really feeling this funk. Maybe it's the doober, but I'm feelin' this shit.

  • Deniece Williams is on background vocals

  • amazing quality

  • If I could travel back in time I'd stop off there and have a drink for sure...Stevie making life that much more beautiful- thank yo Stevie.

  • @erikinhawaii he can't read your comment

  • ohhhh yeah!!!!!!!

  • damn wheres the sax and trumpet? still badass though

  • This is proof that genius can be measured in decibels.

  • where's the keyboard in this?

  • Music, is not like it was. Today's artist, cannot compete with this. That rap ain't shit. Ruined music. In my opinion.

  • @ohmaryjane

    I agree

    Retards

    Attempting

    Poetry

  • only black people can play drums to this song.

  • @divineblobn8 ironically his time keeping isnt too good

  • @ybot1983

And you'd probably say the same thing about Aretha Franklin's drummer on tracks like "Think"., "Respect", Wilson Picket's "Mustang Sally", to name a few ....and you would be wrong on all since the drummer for each was Roger Hawkins, white, from Muscle Shoals. It's the music you grow up listening to that influences how you play.....not skin color. The drummer here is excellent....Ollie Brown is his name. I believe Stevie Wonder played drums on the actual album tracks.

  • @WestLAGuy i didnt mention his colour just the playing it was divineblobn8 who stated the absurd

  • @ybot1983

Sorry, you are correct. I apologize for mixing things up.

  • dude on the drum looks like ben wallace lol

  • The dude on guitar looks like a mix between James Taylor and Norm Greenbaum.

  • Deniece Williams is the lead background vocalist.

  • what a voice what a song fookin great!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this song!!!

  • with Slash his older brother in the back :D

  • @TWOTOSrecords You're right! Dude totally looks like Slash! You know who it actually is? It's most likely Ray Parker Jr. (Ghostbusters theme), he was in Stevie's band around the time and had played music with the drummer Ollie since grade school. You never really get a good look at him in this but check out Stevie playing Superstition on Sesame Street.

  • 2:24 and 2:28. BASSMAND JAMETH!! Love it!

  • VERY SUPER COOL

  • This video MUST have more views!

Thanks for your beautiful art, Stevie!

  • extremely young dennis davis on a cheap as mince drumkit

  • Deniece Williams on background vocals?

  • Hey, this is the exact same version of Superstition that Wonderlove did at the Beat Club in 1973 with the same lineup. Unfortunately, the Beat Club recording was cut off about halfway through the song by the producers - an outrage. I always wanted to know what the rest of this song sounded like, and I'm HUGELY happy I finally found it.

  • Thank you!!!
