  • Lol Nina broke the influence. What a bitch.

  • balio attacked!

i thought he only use magic lol

  • @Asluc96 Nah, bro! They both have normal physical attacks!

  • how to have tat many skills?

  • I see you went with Mygas as a Master in the beginning. I went with Bunyan and power-leveled on Tar Men and Nut People til I reached level 20. Took me a good while, but when I got to this part, I used Healing Herb on Nina. She regained consciousness, hit Sunder and hauled ass. I then transformed into a the Flame Whelp and proceeded to bash Balio's head in with Flame Claw. Of course, I knew they wouldn't die, but if you do enough damage, they run away sooner. Great video though, nonetheless.

  • btw when will ryu mature into his older self?what part?

  • Why is Sunder attacking Balio, because of influence?

  • @Rorypandanda Yes. Influence causes Sunder to do that.

  • great job dude

  • I forgot that they said Bro so much. lol Douchey. About to play this game again, for the first time since like 2000.

  • some people say that you have to got high level, and other crazy skills and status.

I did it in level 11! =D. You just need no learn Influence and remove all his heavy equipments, an you'll be fastest than balio.

And you don't need to wake up the princess, just use influence in balio and heal yourself from balio attacks. The princess will wake up and run alone, without your help.

  • Easiest way: First cast 'Rejuvenate' to Nina, she awakens, hits Sunder and escapes, then just hit them with 'Magic Ball' for maybe couple of turns. (Magic Ball will deal about 70-100 HP per hit, you can learn it from Master Mygas.) If needed, heal yourself. Battle is over at roughly 2-4 turns.

My Ryu was in level 17, his HP was 93 and Agility 20, so I got the 'EX' turns in the battle which naturally helped.

  • I got them to run away on this one too, but I didn't use influence, I turned into Fire Whelp and kept fighting them and switching back until they gave up and ran.

  • i rad on a faq u can beat them or wait till they run away, but i dont like grinding( its boring and takes waay the challenge later on), so i could only get nina to run away before dying.

  • Wow nice, that went so differently than when I thought I was a badass cuz I could turn into the dragon and still got pwned lol.

Haha @ Nina attacking Sunder then running.

  • Oh my gosh i never would have thought of any of that. All i do is die pretty much :P And nina ran away! my gosh... still kinda shocked it turned out that way. How did anyone find out how to do all that anyway?

  • The people who discovered this must love a challenge and worked for hours upon hours to find out a way to beat them here and the first time (which is proven to be impossible). Either that or they are expert hackers.

  • whats with that crazy level of yours?

talk about making yourself a easy mode for the first half of the game.

  • Ya I really did some leveling at the mountain after the first round with Balio and Sunder.

  • lol i can forgive you for that, seeing how easy those mudmen are for exp gaining.

  • Ya they do give a nice chunk of XP.

  • hey.. jst wondering.. can you learn influence at some point after the arena?

  • Ya. After you're done in the arena, you are free to go back to the McNeil Village area and find the Boss Goblins to learn influence from them.

  • no.. i mean like.. before going to mt. boumore or something like that :/

  • Hmm I'm not completly sure. I'd say no unless you happen to run into a Boss Goblin in that area.

  • ok then :) thanks anyways

  • k, im much further now and have it now :)

  • Yes, you can easily learn influence by examining a bossgoblin in Cedar Woods after you get your gear for the first time from Rei.

  • "(10 months ago)" .. kinda late now isn't it?

    but thanks anyways

  • Heh, sorry, I didn't read the date, but hey, at least now you can get influence early on when you play BOFIII again. :P

  • yea haha. i still have the game at home in PS1 version, although i have a PS3 :D but it still works :)

  • Same here.

  • You can also get Snooze (from eye goo after 10 turns) and Gloom (use burn or a fire attack on bats) very early instead of as adult Ryu.

  • I never realized we could've gotten some experience points at this fight.

  • nice vid, 5/5. btw, where did you get the wires for your dazzle?

  • I actually hooked up my PS3 cables into the Dazzle. I also bought a spliter to split the video to the Dazzle and Television, which made things much easier.

  • i mean your hair do.

    yeah the game.

and it was kinda a pointless question.

    ^^terrible grammar.

im too simple to correct it.

  • Ya it is different...

  • 0_0

    what is this!?!

    looks kinda funky.

  • You mean the game?
