I really love this camera! Very nice for my time-lapse movies. I can do time-lapse photography with the NEX using this simple remote intervalometer:TEMPUS. have you tryed it? website at: tempus.bymac.org
hey, old boy, thx for that test ... i am now thinking of buying the nex5n, and that "video click" problem is annoying, even to hear your own breath sometimes when you film in photographers position, cam before eyes... i prefer external mics, but wasnt shure about the quality of nex mic ...
@djconnormoore I have not been to a concert but have been at many outdoor rallies and been close to the speakers which can be very loud. I find the microphone to be excellent. I wish there was an external mic jack but the accessory mic is great. I have the mic on the camera all the time... you may want to check out some videos on my main channel (ButchNews) to see some examples. Scroll down to the most recent 420 rallies and check some of them out.
@deviceundertest I didn't think of that. Oh well. I keep it set at 120 and find it is fairly directional at that setting anyway and, sometimes, I rotate to get crowds while recording street musicians and don't want to lose the sound by facing away. I did a band close to a stage once and my rotates added really neat effects to the sound. Last weekend I had the sound go a bit dead when I was close to a bass guitarist but behind his speaker.

i did some my self inside my apartment when i get the mic and i was kinda frustrated because i did not notice this much of difference, looks like for distance and noise places does a better job.
