hi guys, a known issue, this little beauty likes to torque roll when you spin up too fast on take-off, try less throttle and CG has to be spot on, mine has a 3s 850 maH in it and it balances and flies great, quite fast stock setup. Take-off is a bit tricky and landing with some good speed brings her in really stable. Since it has been scrapped you can always try another one later :-).
Guys, i bought this same plane few days ago and happens exactly the same thing! It always turn to left and crash. The CG was quite ok. The strange thing is that when i tried to fly only planing, without engine, it flew ok, but when i turned the engine on it jus turned to left exactly as happen with yours on this video.... Mine had its nose destroyed and i reconstructed it. It ill get to fly it ill tell you.!
I had this problem with mine, you are flying way too tail heavy! Your CG should be 15mm from the start of the wing, nearest to the body. First "flight" with CG way too tail heavy the plane just pitched up, turned around and slammed into the ground breaking the nose section off. Second flight I fitted a weight in the form of my micro camera to the front and it flew fast and stable.
@burghoorn I am having trouble with this plane. Do you start up the transmitter and plane according to the directions, or slightly differently? All the plane does for me is turn the servos one way and then not respond to the transmitter.
Looks like a torgue roll issue to me, the P 51 design for some reason like to do that, try it on Flight sim x it will act the same way really, you need right aileron and 1/3 rudder to the right.
Do that till plane gets some speed and slowing let off it will be ok once it gets going
Hey mikkobrostrom ! Weather is ok now and everyone has returned from summer holidays so we can start flying again and make new vids. We have some vids left to be edited and you can expect more action very very soon ! Thanx ...
THROUGH IT HARDER!!!!! stop doing little pussy throughs and through it hard so it will have speed, therfor more lift! and if that dosnet work, well........... new wings!!!!
Use trim, if that doesn't work change your cg to lean away from the falling side. If that doesn't work, it means your plane is actually aerodynamically screwed. Try using tape
When the aileron stick is moved to the right, the right aileron is raised and the left aileron is lowered. I had the same issue with my F4U CORSAIR. I think they deliberately set it on reverse so u crash it and end up buying parts for it.
Mine does the same thing. It always goes to the left and I think it has to do with the "p factor." Hope you figure out the problem cus it is really frustrating.
Hi Goze211, we installed a new gearbox with propshaft. Flight was somewhat improved nut still terrible. Shaft was bended again due to another severe nose-down .. I'd say ; go for it's larger brother P-51D. This one REALY flies good -> check out my other uploads on YT.
hey i have one of those planes.. there hard to fly... i had to redo my airloins.. it did not have good throw.. it also is very slippery.and will wing tip stall easy on landing..take-off and in the back side of a loop
Keeps rolling to the left ajust trim to the right to stop it this may help as most war birds are twitchy. If not trimed wright its very hard to fly any plane.

Ah ok just removed the gear from my spit and the cg was too far back, just thought I'd mention it! Any videos of the new mustang?
helipilot727 2 years ago
Yes, check my channel and you'll see many vids of the larger Mustang.
burghoorn 2 years ago
Uh well, you removed the landing gear and now the CG is too far back. Add some nose weight!
helipilot727 2 years ago
Hmmm .. there was no gear one this mini Mustang. It's scrapped and the larger brother flies great. Thanks for your comment btw ..

Low wings are fast flyers. Hard and straight is how they launch. Also check if your channel isnt reversed. ;') It always keels over leftside.

what wing size is it?
filipe3361 2 years ago
Mini Mustang from Art-Tech : 750mm wing span (weight 390gr). But buy the larger one would be my advise ...

Don't throw it UP. Throw it straight out or even DOWN a bit and THROW IT HARDER.
Geez guys, you're stalling the plane at the get go. It has to gain flying speed.
THROW IT HARDER, straight out or even down a bit.

the servos for the aileron is on reverse.
the ready fly transmitter usually for the art-tech should have a switch u can flip to reverse the servo.

Soms moet je minder gas geven om op te stijgen (torque effect).
