these planes are junk! i ordered one from nitroplanes and not only did it go together like a pile , it crashed right off the get go, i have been flying for 20 plus years! the cg was right on , the control surfaces where right etc etc .and it was just an underpowered Chinese pile of shit..the cowl is paper thin plastic that breaks when you look at it! the stickers were coming off, tail did not line up properly etc etc PILE -O-SHIT !!!!!
Can you please tell us something about the motor (Amps, Volts etc). I want to try different batteries and I need to know the power it will need as not to destroy my pack.
Indeed this IS the original setup on the video. I've just flown mine!! Very happy with the plane yet still trying to figure out how much expo and D/R I should use as it is super sensitive for my skill.
I find it extra sensitive to wind too, and I had some problems getting it down safe as thermals (it is really hot in Greece) were lifting it up!!!
Sorry I don't understand! Correct me if I'm wrong: You say 60% Expo on ailerons and elevator and 100% Expo on rudder? And after my 1st flight 40% DR on all three surfaces???

I'm thinking of get myself an yak 54 as well. I wonder if the 'standard'-version is able for all these tricks...? If someone knows, please let me know!! Greetz & keep up the good work;)
I'll buy a Messerschmitt this weekend :D:D I was thinking at buying a Yak but you said it's fragile. I'm a beginner at flying so I don't wanna break my plane it's first flight.
Very fragil ... really ... I landed on a grass field like a chooper cuz of the strong wind ... for my suprise it broke in the middle ... i made the reapair. Its a good plane but even expert pilots must take care cuz It is not like the flite´s ones ... This yak is realllllly fragil.

At first, from the music, I thought Satan might've been flying the plane, but then I realized it was in fact Yanni.

I'm confused ..

60 Ailerons and elevator
0 rudder
and for D/R
0 for 100% movement for everything.

Mine just arrived! Should I put on expo or D/R before flying it?? It seems like it has hudge rudder and ailerons!! What do you think??
PS I still think that the plane on this video seems extrapowered compared with the other ones on youtube ;)
manosskg 3 years ago
Put on around 60% Expo for each surface.
Than for Rudder, 100% D/R 40% and 40%
NEVER use Dual Rates when it's your first time flying ANY aircraft.
Good luck and have fun!

Yehp, this plane has a thrust/weight ratio of 1.10 to 1.20.
This is a 3D plane, any 3D plane is capable of these aerobatics.

Question: ¿How does the electronic stuff goin'? I mean the quality of the LiPo's, servos, motor, etc.
Also, has the stock motor, with stock batteries, enough power for 3D manouvres?

Their really good for a RTF, check out my vid on it.

I got one of these as a fun knock-around plane at a fly-in for $90. I haven't flown it yet but it should be interesting.
