The main reason it's illegal is because it's extremely useful, and easy to make. The lumber industry would go out of business too. Hemp is a lot stronger and cheaper. I understand the whole "fear issue" but the gov is an ass hole for making it illegal. But look at it this way: legalizing hemp would drive so many people out of jobs.
It wouldn't end jobs, would just modify the raw materials used in all of those jobs. In actuality it would create more jobs, as growing and cultivating hemp is seasonal and ongoing.

I just bought their hemp oil to make salad dressings and it's wonderful. You can't fry with it because it produces trans fats somehow. Hemp milk is great too. Since I've bought the oil and the milk I've decided to include hemp into my daily diet.

Fermented soy may be considered healthy though (i'm not taking a stance). But in raw and other forms there are substances that may alter development (phytoestrogens etc), hamper thyroid function, block mineral uptake and other things. You'll find lots of information on this if you search. Many people replace short chain saturated fat (butter/coconut) with margarines. Could be a mistake.

Soy is trash, 8 times more omega 6 than omega 3. There are also enzymes that bind to protein inhibiting protein absorption as well as phytoestrogens which are really not as good as they are said to be.

I just bought their hemp oil to make salad dressings and it's wonderful. You can't fry with it because it produces trans fats somehow. Hemp milk is great too. Since I've bought the oil and the milk I've decided to include hemp into my daily diet.

well, this is what i see being a problem... the founding fathers grew cannabis, not just hemp. they grew both. the information about cannabis is gonna (as it looks by the media here) get weeded out. cannabis kills cancer cells. type in cbs harvard lung cancer thc into google. type in thc gbm in google and go to the 2nd website. type in cannabinoid brain cell on google and go to 2nd website (chemical in cannabis produces NEW brain cells). hemp is only the male plant cannabis is the female plant.

Hemp can produce 250% more fiber than cotton and 600% more fiber than flax using the same amount of land. The amount of land needed for obtaining equal yields of fiber place hemp at an advantage over other fibers.

Hemp can produce almost everything. Believe or not: Even CEMENT! Hemp oil is the most commonly used product aside from the seeds, and it could even replace oil if we legalized it.. The good things about hemp oil are that it doesn't pollute, can cure any disease known to mankind, even cancer, and contains enough energy to run cars.

I just have to say... at the end of the video "Dr. Mike" shows how little he actually knows by saying tetrahyhroCANNABIS instead of tetrahydrocannabinol which is the actual name for the psychoactive substance (THC). Second, he compared poppy seeds to cocaine, where it is actually heroin, which is the drug that comes from the same plant as poppy seeds (the opium poppy plant).
This video does well to show how little people actually know about the subject.
