We frog hunt in Western New York. Did you guys notice their decline in the last few years? Not as many around my area anymore. It's like their dying off.
Just had frog legs for the first time last week. I have to say they have they absolutely clean and pure taste to them. I'd eat frog legs over chicken wings any day.
@Leatherwoodoutdoors yea i woould really appreciate it u guys are great hunters and i bought a recurve i can hit good at 10 but past ten i suck so if could show stuff like that i would really appreciate it.
Next time you clean them ,when they soak in water sprinkle some salt in the water and watch the legs move after the salt is sprinkled in the water . Great stuff guys.
very nice videos Shane and Hunter. i myself love to shoot frogs anytime i can at local ponds. sometimes i also use a fishing pole with a worm to catch then if their close. hope to keep following u guys in the winter in deer season
awesome. you guys are pretty damn good with those recurves. great practice. I can't wait for archery season! can you guys get all of your arrows back after you shoot them into the pond? or do you lose lots of arrows on those frogs?
@Leatherwoodoutdoors yea, I know what you mean. shooting recurve takes lots and lots of practice. I just wasn't sure if you lost any arrows down in the water cuz' its not set up like a bow fishing rig. ..can't just reel in your arrow. great shootin' guys
I just wanna say, "You guys are amazing!" I love that you not only hunt for deer, but for everything else that you are legally able to hunt and fish for. Wish we had frogs here to hunt/fish for because that looked like some good eatin'! Thanks for sharing!
i was wondering, would the frog hunting not be a lot easier with a BB gun, blowgun, slingshot or an air gun? seems to me like quite a hassle always having to retreat those arrows and missing so often. good sport though. yet another great video, thanks
@paolomagnone Well here is Pa your not allowed to use blowguns, bb or pellet guns or slingshots or any kind of air rifle to hunt with. Plus this is good off season practice with the recurves. Couple months till deer season.

Andymannitro 2 weeks ago
@Andymannitro you can use it for catfish bait or just throw them aways. Other animals will find it a free meal.
