  • Comrade,

I know it is harder to keep the bell above your knees one the one-hand swings, but you should really make sure u do, as it is caused by rounding in your back.

In all instances you should be keeping your back straight, remember, the excercise isnt over untill after you put the bell down.

You look like a powerful guy, but your arms should not get tired, the bell should float effortlessly up as you snap your hips to extension using your glutes to achieve full tension.

Thanks for the advice. Since this video was made (about 10 months ago), I too have become RKC certified. I look back now at this video and can truly see how "green" I was. I agree... too much arm, no hip snap, not enough back hike. Even knowing this now, it still helps to have someone analyze your form. Thanks again!

  • Keep the bell swinging above the knees if possible, make a sharp snap of the hips at the top, pull down on the bell to make sure you aren't using your deltoids to raise it up. Other than those pointers, great work! Swings build character.

  • the most important thing i have learned is to "pull your knee caps up" on each swing...hope that helps

  • kettlebell too low to the ground. cant do proper hip snap that way

I think you should try and snap your hips more. analyze the way Pavel does it. moments after your hip snap the kettlebell will just float up.

and you should try 2 handed swings before 1 handed. hope I helped
