Danny Boy was actually a seperate poem that was later set to the melody of "Londonderry Air"!

Traditional melody but I believe the lyrics are by a Welsh couple who loved Ireland. Pity Jim's beautiful rendition omits the last verse -
And I will hear though soft you tread above me
and all my grave will warmer, sweeter be
And you will bend and tell me that you love me
and I shall sleep in peace until you come to me.
Anyone know where I can get a copy of the brilliant version by Nana Mouskouri?
