  • @Ewiryh yes it is. This is from the soundtrack

  • Your translation is sometimes wrong :/

  • Is the dialog supposed to be missing at the end?

  • Beautiful :) But the Norwegian version is better :D

  • I really can't tell from the two kind of french, since my thing is spanish, english and italian, but I like how it sounds (: maybe when I'm done with italian (currently learning it) I'll give the basics of french a try, although I can't decide between studying german, russian or arabian!

  • @181diane

Haha, hard choice. I'd go with arabic so most people don't know what you're writing. ^^

  • @181diane If your English is strong, I'd recommend German. I'm American, and I've found transitioning into another Germanic language was easier than an Italic language like French. The same rule applies for moving from a Germanic or Italic language like English or French to a Slavic language i.e. Russian. If you are serious about picking up new languages, then it is always a good idea to work first within your previous language base families.

  • I am originally from France, is about 40% French and 60% Swedish.

It sounds wonderful to hear this! ♥

  • Haha, when they says ''One Family'' in French, it sounds like Swedish! ^^

  • @TheLionKingSwedish they say "une famille" and maybe it's like in Swedish (i'm french so if one of you have questions about the translation, i'm here for you :) (i love english so speak english to you would feel me happy)

  • @itsoumi Okay, but when it says''Une Famille''it sounds really like Swedish! And in Swedish they say ''En familj'' ^^

  • French Simba is just as good as English Simba! :D

  • @TheSoulAlchemist22 the singer is the french voice of Jim Carrey ;)

  • Je suis vraiment très enchantée de réentendre une chanson qui a bercée toute mon enfance. La langue de Molière est vraiment très belle et c'est LA langue de la musique comme nous le prouve Walt Disneys.

  • Simba in this sounds the same as the english Simba

  • My three favorites (thus far): English (because it's the original language, and I can understand it perfectly! Plus, Cam Clarke just has an amazing voice!), (Latin American) Spanish (because I love the Spanish language, and that singer sings well too), and French (very pretty language, and it makes this song very soothing).

  • simba is one hot lion.

    XD

  • Are there two versions of this song besides the Canadian version? I have heard another one, with the exact same lyrics as this one but the voices of the singers seem more higher pitched.

  • french is just amazing! love this version! the brazilian version is also great!

  • I like too much this version.

  • In my opinion polish version is much better

  • My top 5:

    1: Italian

    2: Brazilian

    3: French

    4: Hebrew

    5: Spanish

  • i like the translation of the lyrics in this version. sometimes i was very similar to the english version, and other times the lyrics were said better.

  • 1 - fench

    2 - russian

    3 - swedish and danish

    4 - German

    5 - spanish

  • @MrRangerike It doesn't matter, I can understand xD

  • kind of makes me want to learn french again.. after i lost those 5 years of training in school !! i had the worst teacher !!

  • I'm learning french in school this is a great learning technique

  • French is one of my top ten favorite languages in the world. It just sounds so beautiful.

  • i really really really love this voice ... very pretty very masculine.. but .. no offense.. i don't find it fitting for simba ... it's to mature :)

  • Cette vidéo est magnifique. La version française est la meilleure. (je suis italien)

  • j'aime ca version.. ma est meilleur l' italien!

  • French is the most beautiful language in the world

  • the translation isnt presiss.... but i dont mind it that much... its still good!

  • its like some french god of music iz sendin this message to us

  • My goodness, Simba's voice gives me the shivers in all the best ways.

  • lyrics is wrong

  • "Quelques soient nos desseins" means "Whatever we make up"

because "quel que soit" means "whatever" and "nos desseins"-"our drawings" in this term mean - "whatever our drawings"->"whatever we draw"->"whatever we make up"...et voila!!!

  • @MMMmaire78

I know you're right but I think in this context, to translate it into English the sentence "quels que soient nos desseins sans nous attendre" would be "whatever may be our plans, without waiting for us" (refering to time going "on it's way")

  • Simba's voice is so nice...

  • i wish is was on totning a dialect in gjøvik xD

  • Everybody should check the Swedish version out! It's really good lyrics =)

btw This was very good too.

  • English, Italian, and French are my favorite languages. They are so beautiful <3

English because how deep and developed it is, and the other two because...ahhhh <3

Simba has a SMOOTH voice :D

  • @Nyxferno i agree ^^ like in all languages simba always sounds very casual and smooth

  • @VaLBrody Simba: Emanuel Curtli

    Kiara: Kelly Marot

  • je l'aime trop en danois!

  • omg - I just realised that ine of the original voices in the background around 2:14 sounds exactly like the swedish sentence "en familj" (a family). I thought it was when I was a kid.

  • ooh, I didn't realize this got re-uploaded ^.^ Sorry for my mistakes

  • Je l'aime trop en français . ^^

  • I have a really high respect for the French language, it's so beautiful and i love it. This song almost puts me in tears. I love it in english too.

    greetings from Athens:)

  • Ohhh thank you! I made some little spelling mistakes, I'm sorry. But the lyrics are right ;)! Thanks to write me, I haven't seen this before and that's touch me :P.

  • you have put the french lyrics as 'comme les lions, par millions', (like millions of lions), but the translator has misheard it as 'comme lions, dans les lions' or something similar. ---. i'm not french, so i might be wrong!

  • @chickenseechickenpoo Emmanuel Curtil is Simba and Melinda Attia is Kiara only in sing!

  • @chickenseechickenpoo I'm french and it's "Comme les lions par millions" :D

  • Who are the singers in the French version?

    Thanks!

  • finally we are one ina different language with lyrics dans notre vie il ya lol

  • It is good it feels much special then all the others maybe because it's on french and that sounds good

  • i love this song and now that i found in french with the lyrics i will be able to use it to help further my french. thanks a lot!!
