You should buy it for the multiplayer ONLY. I got super good, and it's honestly my favorite game. The controls are clunky at first and hard to get used to, but work really well once you get good. This game is so much fun if you just give it a shot, but then again, i like weird games like this.

I didn't even bother with this game since the first Transformers: The Game just turned me off that much. It's also the reason I haven't bought War for Cybertron, I expected more of the same shitty stuff from the first one. I just watched a review for WFC and it looked pretty nice. I might pick it up sometime, I might not.

In the first game transforming was a slow process required by two button presses, but here it is much more streamlined and fast for combat. transformers 2 was too much man. I loved the TV series back in the day, and i definitely knew going into Micheal Bay's transformers that it was going to be totally different from the series. Not at all. The graphics, and controls, and combats are pretty decent. But the rest is garbage really. This game could of been SOOO MUUCCHHHH better. What i really hated about the game, is the story mode really. The story mode concept is really weak. Hell, i actually liked the PS2 version much better. At least on the PS2 version, they stood on point for the story mode.

IGN is only about graphics, their PAID to review them how people want them review it . The game is awesome, a LOT better than the first one. 9/10 for me.

Played the game on the 360... beat the autobot campaign and quickly traded the thing in. Total rubbish.
The character models are decent, the story/plot/presentation is an absolute ZERO.
If you want an authentic Transformers experience - War for Cybertron will make you forgot that this game even exists.

The game was good,it was just annoying that the missions were so repetative...i mean,the graphics,the engine,transformations ect were good.
But one thing was really driving me crazy.
entire autobot team using bumblebee and his homing rockets.

Well I liked this game. acting sucked. but the basic premineses of the story was better than the movie. Gameplay was good and graphics where better than the last one.

Not at all. The graphics, and controls, and combats are pretty decent. But the rest is garbage really. This game could of been SOOO MUUCCHHHH better. What i really hated about the game, is the story mode really. The story mode concept is really weak. Hell, i actually liked the PS2 version much better. At least on the PS2 version, they stood on point for the story mode.

@Gresh431 Where the hell is Yellow Jacket? He was the original yellow sports car, if you remember. Bumble Bee was just an ugly little Volkswagon Bug. He was microscopic and unimportant compared to most of the other Autobots in the old animated series.

IGN is only about graphics, their PAID to review them how people want them review it . The game is awesome, a LOT better than the first one. 9/10 for me.

If this game had the gameplay of first TF Movie(2007) and had some cool cutscrnrs like the first one that could be on of the best games of 2009.
