@Macsgrafs nice flying then, i have some hours on a sim. i dont have any experience with any other r/c and what gets me is flying away and turning and coming back in. i cant revers my thinking with it. i move it to the left and i want it to go to the right.
my mini titan with cobra conversion is all over the place...i just upgraded from a show gun v2 and with the titan i used better radio gear futaba 401 with servo and high teck 65hb.i can get it to huver in no wind but seems it have some bad habbits with cg.not sure only huvered it a few times.if you could would you tell me what your control throws are on your radio and at what percent do you have your expo set.
I had my expo very low, below 15 from memory. What blades are you running? Radix etc are very light & I found the woodern blades far better for genreal flying.
Ive been training in Realflight G3.5 and I recently upgraded to 4.5 so I can train with the Mini Titan model. My brother is using the Phoenix sim and he says its extremely good. I think that both are great aids to get used to flying, but its a dofferent game when you go out in the field. So in my opinion, any sim that can get simulate physics close to reality is good. I did the experiment and thanks to RF G4 I can actually fly pretty confidently in real life. Happy landings and enjoy.
I also learned on Phoenix and my first Raptor50 flights were very controlled. I didn't have the guts to go straight into forward flight but I think I could have managed it back then without too much trouble. I'd definitely second your recommendation for Phoenix - it's a fantastic sim.
At the time you think can i? but as you now know, you could have quite easily. I like the TT raptor series, the canopies look so nice, far better than my trex600 canopy. Thanks for the comments, Ross.
Im getting one of these really soon, going to invest in the sim like you suggested, how difficult have you found the heli to fly, compared to flying it on the sim. take care and hopefully I will be posting my first vid soon, any other info, or advice would be very much appreciated
To be honest with you I find the mini titan harder in the sim than the real thing! I have tried a trex 450 & blade 300, both are harder to fly than the mini titan. Make sure you practice a lot on the sim, it REALLY does pay off in the end.
newbie? perhaps w/ e325, but not to helis.
i wish i could fly like you

@7digitalSunday No, the mini titan was my first heli, I crashed it in summer of 2010 & just stuck with my trex 600E

@7digitalSunday when you fly you have to imagine you are in the cockpit, if you really can get into it, it should come naturally.

how high does this go 600 feet?

@ihateelmoful If you can see it, you're still controlling it.

Hey.Did you solve your vibration problem? If not you could loosen the screws in your bladeholders so its not to tight and see if thats better
