  • Loved it!....thats the "narrowest" uke neck I've ever seen. I had noticed it because my fingers are so freakin' small that I wished I had a baritone uke with such a narrow neck!..

  • Great! Wonderful melody line. You've helped me decide to learn how to play the baritone ukelele.

  • Just fine !

  • nice to hear some gypsy jazz played on ukulele... i like it alot :)

  • I appreciate this kind of music, and I like how you use your baritone for it. I think I'll watch your all videos, trusting that I'll find other pleasant music. Bye, Marco

  • I bought my first baritone uke tonight on ebay,so I'm surfing youtube to see what it's all about..... ;) Great job!

  • that was way cool!

i wish i could play like that

was that rehearsed? or off the top of your head?

    either way, sounded great

  • Thanks. I knew the song reasonably well (it's pretty straightforward) so rehearsed a bit before recording the rhythm tracks. But I generally just solo off the top of my head, although only a small percentage of that counts as improvisation.

  • Oh you swingin' hepcat!

  • that was wonderful, thank you

  • I mean Improvisation lol.

  • sounds good my friend, love the improve. keep playing.

  • Great playing man! How do you have that tuned?

  • Swell!

  • very good , like a the pianist!

  • I think I'm hearing a litle "Django" here... very nice! Are you playing with a felt pick? Peace.

  • You are indeed. I'm playing the guitar with a Wegen gypsy jazz pick (the 2.5 mm model) and the uke with an extra heavy pick. I think it ends up sounding like a mandolin a little.

  • fan-freakin-tastic!

  • That sounded great!

  • wow .. great playing

  • The sound of this baritone ukulele is great! I loved it! 5 stars from me!

  • NICE!!!

  • Adam Swingbossa "Reinhardt" Wanted...

  • If I had a dollar for every hour I spent playing Django-style gypsy swing jazz....

I might have to record more songs like this.

  • Nice, Zinho!!!! You da bomb! But no singing? :(

  • I had thought about doing a chorus, but this key is a little high for me, and I couldn't get it to sound decent. Next time!

  • Nice job! :-)

  • Beeeeeeeeeeeeeechin!

    P

  • It sounds super sweet!!!

  • Congratulations Adam.Great song and performance. We have, in Brasil, some good players of Ukulele, we call "violão tenor": Zé Menezes and Renato Anesi. The tune is: A-D-G-C ???

  • I have heard of Zé Menezes; he's great. Actually, for this baritone ukulele i'm tuning it like the top four strings of a regular guitar (D-G-B-E). Traditional tenor guitar is tuned as you indicate, often the same as 4-string banjo. Soprano ukulele is often tuned G-C-E-A.

  • Ahhh...four-string goodness...me like!

swingbossa math: four strings = five stars.

  • He he love it.

  • awesome!
