  • This still doesnt help make the price of a 3D movie ticket go down

  • oh so i have bring a picket knife, steal pair of glasses, and bring glew, clamps, also do i need a flashlight with me? also since i live in nyc and i get arrested for doing this i will blame and sue you

  • or you can wear one right side up and another upside down

  • i want to 3d glasses... i dont need a 2d glasses....

  • omg i got the same reald d 3d glasses but i bought them.....

    Assholes

  • They already see 2d glasses!

  • Assholes!

  • Thanks guys :)

  • If people want to make 3d movies, they should shoot it in 3d in the first place, come on guys, just use two lenses it's not that hard. Okay it kind of is because they haven't figured out a good harness to walk in with the camera's attached, so the actors will have to stand still or at least don't move to much cause they will walk right out of their closeup :P among some other problems. But still, just put some effort in if you want to make a 3d movie and it will be epic :D

  • 3d classes are free at our movies but you have to give them back

  • Wrong they are good when converted from 2d to 3d they are good in 2012

  • Thanks, but you can get 2d glasses with out all of the work and having to steal anything.

    Toys and Geek

  • They ask for you to recycle them, their really cheap, and won't break the bank if you, or the entire audience, walks out with them.

  • Are you stupid everyone is trying to convert 2d in 3d and you make the opposite!Wakeeee up!The future is not back!

  • @Mikenik30 ignorant fool

  • Or you could just get a pre-made pair at DFTBA.com...

  • Guys I want to know how to matke those polarised glasses... ??

  • porn music in the background xD

  • I kinda want to do this just to return it into the pile after a 3D movie just so that some random person who pays for a 3D movie would be like, "The 3D effects were terrible."

  • 3d sucks ass its just a stupid gimmick and it me a headache after 10 mins.

as the top commenter said all we want is a good story with good acting.

as an example the transformer films are all about 3d effects ,no story

wallace and grommit is well scripted, well timed with good stories that captivate you. who cares if the dog is made of plastecine and has a thumbprint on his nose and its in 2d.

i only used that as an example of primitive 2d animation compared to 3dCG.

i know which one I like

  • @craggy074 They said in the beginning of the video that sometimes your friends all want to see a 3D movie or the 3D movie is all that's out. A lot of the time, when they bill a movie in 3D, they'll only have 2D in a few theaters, and they'll only be on one screen. The movie makers WANT you to go to the 3D movie because they get more money for 3D than they do with 2D. My friends and I all tried to see the last Harry Potter movie in 2D and there were only 2 of the 7 local theaters that had it.

  • can i play assassins creed revelations with this glasses

  • I put these on and saw a young man waving a knife in my face. It was so close you could touch it.

    I was mugged moments later.

Don't wear them outdoors, you'll become a target.

  • @Nottojudge1 WTF!

  • @TheJuli1241 ... NOT to be taken Literary... See it for what it is :)

  • 3D films like Avatar are focal depth perspective correct , using proper focal depth calls Attention to the objects in the scene the director wants "you" to focus on films that dont corectly use this cause your brain to try and focus on many objects in the scene only one of them is in proper natural perspective the others dont add up corectly this causes stress and you guessed it headaches people with uncorected vision issues same issue film makers must do there homework to create 3D content .

  • "I've done that!!! Oh, well done Jim"....... :)

  • or i could just go see the movie in 2D, all theaters give you a choice, if not: go online and watch it.

  • @studioJDJ not all theatres! Its a money making thing...

  • Awsome!

I have a bunch here for my home RealD 3D setup and I think I'll convert a pair to get some peace at the cinema,

  • OR... you can close one eye which works too

  • @ssaaiiyyaannmmaann and i would want to that...why?

  • @UltimateConnor Cause its 10 times faster then what you just did

  • I like the guy t-shirt 'Put on your 3D glasses NOW!'

  • If you dont like 3d, just shut the f***ck up and dont watch it.

  • this is confusing as shit, left right left right nub knob gaping aus sniff some crazy glue 2d 3d 1.21 jiggawatts.

  • or just put a bit of paper over 1 eye ? easier than faster with same effect

  • Or you could just see the same movie in 2d

  • @MrBLAHBLAH778 There are films that are released only in 3D and there are cinemas, who show some films only in 3D.

  • Really Real 3d Gives you headaches, nothing compaired to the Red and blue 3D glasses. Real3D at least using your eyes and simple glasses

  • Gays rule

  • you didint steal them you payed for them by buying the movie ticket some people dont know that i think

  • thn wuts the point about paying extra money to watch the movie in 3d?

  • Do the glasses also work for people with astigmatism?

  • I'm going to see my very first 3d movie in a cinema next week but if I end up not liking it then I can just do this so my family can see it in 3d and I can just watch it in 2d

  • OR you can just go to a theater that plays the 2D version of the film

  • I'm blind in 1 eye and 3D pisses me right off.

  • You can just close one of your eyes. Works well :P

  • i should have done this tonight wen i went to watch transformer 3..;)

  • This is also a way to make your 3d tv at home play split screen co-op or vs matches with each player getting to use the full screen.

  • @dddude55 how//

  • @UltimateStudios32 If you do this you have glasses that filter out only one image. If you have a 3d tv that uses the same kind of glasses then you can play split screen multiplayer where both players get to use the full screen.

Once you enter the game in split screen you turn 3d mode on, on your tv. Set it to how ever the game is splitting the screen(top/bottom or side/side). This way both players use the full screen.

  • still have to wear the glasses tho...should just give you a real-d 3d face mask

  • if you only had one pair of glasses to work with, wouldnt it also work to reverse the direction of the right lens by popping it out, then putting it back in reverse?

    ?

  • if you only had one pair of glasses to work with, wouldnt it also work to reverse the direction of the right lens by popping it out, then putting it back in reverse?

  • I've only seen 2 movies in 3D. The latest Resident Evil and Thor. The 3d in Resident Evil was pretty nice, adn the color was still good, with a sharp picture.

In Thor, it looked atrocious. The 3d itself, was overdone adn poorly implemted.

    plus, the mvoie sucked.

  • couldn't you just use one pair and just flip on lense around?

  • Wonderful! But are the images different or is it only a minute change? Do they still charge extra if you have a pair of glasses already?

  • Do you know the guy who wearing the shark shirt which says: Put on your 3D glasses now!

  • YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • the vlog brothers guy stole this!

  • only avatar is the real 3d

  • i want that shirt

  • NERDFIGHTERS

  • This would be great as a video response to the Vlogbrothers' latest video "2D Glasses! Take the Headache out of 3D"!

  • @ZetaCron

Ha lol i just came here from watching that vid and thought the same thing lol

  • @ZetaCron it is in the suggestions :D

  • Great job guys! The caution warning for the rotations help!

  • this is the proof 3D is already dead. Hollywood killed it with dozens of crappy 3D movies. but they have always had something else to blame for their poor box office performances. when will they learn that a good movie is the only thing we want to see?

  • @suskistube yeah. it was cool at first, then it got out of hand... it seems like every movie they make now is in 3D.

  • I already do this...

  • Ah, the way technology has come....

Years ago we would shit our pants at the thought of 3d moving pictures.

Now we're turning those 3d moving pictures back a dimension.

  • @KravenLupei You'll have to go pretty far back to shit your pants then; en wikipedia org/wiki/List_of_3-D_films

The studios just don't know how to stop using this 3D gimmick.

  • @Flannelll I think he means the 3D we have now, not the red/blue 3D, that wasn't an elevated price either!

  • I dont think you need 2 pairs, you could just rotate one of the lenses , I don't get why anyone would do this though

  • @putzamoale99 Trust me, i think Narnia would've been better in just 2d.

  • @Sentada narnia... hahah made me laugh

  • @putzamoale99 ....On second thought, nothing would've made that movie better. Even a young boy turning into a dragon.

  • @putzamoale99 Rotating won't work, because they're radially polarized. If they were traditional polaroid film, you'd lose the picture when you tilt your head.
