oh so i have bring a picket knife, steal pair of glasses, and bring glew, clamps, also do i need a flashlight with me? also since i live in nyc and i get arrested for doing this i will blame and sue you
If people want to make 3d movies, they should shoot it in 3d in the first place, come on guys, just use two lenses it's not that hard. Okay it kind of is because they haven't figured out a good harness to walk in with the camera's attached, so the actors will have to stand still or at least don't move to much cause they will walk right out of their closeup :P among some other problems. But still, just put some effort in if you want to make a 3d movie and it will be epic :D
I kinda want to do this just to return it into the pile after a 3D movie just so that some random person who pays for a 3D movie would be like, "The 3D effects were terrible."
3d sucks ass its just a stupid gimmick and it me a headache after 10 mins.
as the top commenter said all we want is a good story with good acting.
as an example the transformer films are all about 3d effects ,no story
wallace and grommit is well scripted, well timed with good stories that captivate you. who cares if the dog is made of plastecine and has a thumbprint on his nose and its in 2d.
i only used that as an example of primitive 2d animation compared to 3dCG.
@craggy074 They said in the beginning of the video that sometimes your friends all want to see a 3D movie or the 3D movie is all that's out. A lot of the time, when they bill a movie in 3D, they'll only have 2D in a few theaters, and they'll only be on one screen. The movie makers WANT you to go to the 3D movie because they get more money for 3D than they do with 2D. My friends and I all tried to see the last Harry Potter movie in 2D and there were only 2 of the 7 local theaters that had it.
3D films like Avatar are focal depth perspective correct , using proper focal depth calls Attention to the objects in the scene the director wants "you" to focus on films that dont corectly use this cause your brain to try and focus on many objects in the scene only one of them is in proper natural perspective the others dont add up corectly this causes stress and you guessed it headaches people with uncorected vision issues same issue film makers must do there homework to create 3D content .
I'm going to see my very first 3d movie in a cinema next week but if I end up not liking it then I can just do this so my family can see it in 3d and I can just watch it in 2d
@UltimateStudios32 If you do this you have glasses that filter out only one image. If you have a 3d tv that uses the same kind of glasses then you can play split screen multiplayer where both players get to use the full screen.
Once you enter the game in split screen you turn 3d mode on, on your tv. Set it to how ever the game is splitting the screen(top/bottom or side/side). This way both players use the full screen.
if you only had one pair of glasses to work with, wouldnt it also work to reverse the direction of the right lens by popping it out, then putting it back in reverse?

I've only seen 2 movies in 3D. The latest Resident Evil and Thor. The 3d in Resident Evil was pretty nice, adn the color was still good, with a sharp picture.
In Thor, it looked atrocious. The 3d itself, was overdone adn poorly implemted.
this is the proof 3D is already dead. Hollywood killed it with dozens of crappy 3D movies. but they have always had something else to blame for their poor box office performances. when will they learn that a good movie is the only thing we want to see?
@putzamoale99 Rotating won't work, because they're radially polarized. If they were traditional polaroid film, you'd lose the picture when you tilt your head.
This still doesnt help make the price of a 3D movie ticket go down
