  • the what tool??? =/

  • Okay, band meeting. Murray, present. Bret, present. Jemaine, present.

  • You also lost a sharp corner on the bottom the apple in the end and it's now a rounded corner. Can you explain?

  • It's pretty evident what's happening when you pay close attention to the image. But your verbal instructions are horrible compared to other tutorials on YouTube! Especially when you go into using the blend tool, you need to be very specific HOW to use the tool. Do you click on two seperate points on different paths? Or click AND drag? Don't just say "that one to that one" or "this to that." Be more specific. And is there a need to "preset" the blend tool prior to using it? Not extremely helpful.

  • Make sure the highlight colour is a lighter shade of the standard red, with both magenta and yellow levels the same. The halo is probably a result of the sudden introduction of a colour.

  • Yes the halo is due to a strong contrast. Thanks for this tutorial- it was a good introduction to illustrator's blend tool.

  • this is great, but i keep getting a kind of lighter halo mark around my inner highlight area which stands out from the blend, there is no stroke, but it would be where the stroke should be.

  • This has helped me no end! Thanks!!

  • great! thanks
