  • LOL @ the stalls

  • lol @ the idiots complaining bout the stall.... guys you should look up word wind shear

  • lol stall

  • I Stalled During Landing And Still Complete This Mission :)

  • Why is you MCDU/FMC off?

    You need it MISTER!!!

  • what airport did you land in?

  • very nice landing 20/20

  • 5/5 except when you rofl stalled

  • @jerhmmmm

Did you read the message at the end of the video.

I do explain about the false stall warning with your realism

    on high!

Let me know if I am wrong. But I always figure if you do stall a 747

    you will never make it.

  • @deliveryguy1970 jst kick the throttle give the tail its correct position but trust me this suggestion sometimes dont work!!!

  • that mission was easy ( made it in the second attempt ,i know iam a looser ...lol ) use the autopilot for heading and speed and altitude ,when on final approach ,just use the ILS ( radio frq = app ) to line up with the airport and let the plane land itself ......done ,oh and yes you will run low on gas ....hehehe no worries the 747 fly's on fewm's ( however u spell that one .lol ),nice clip anyways

  • Well good landing, but, try to control your final approaching speed, and use the lights on final (PAPI) to alingn with the glide path.

  • dude were u using gps or navigation to fly ?? nd did d plane turn using autopilot ?? (im a beginner.....very tuff for me to linue up runway and i dont know how to communicate with the ATC as u did )

  • dude were u using navigation or gps to fly ???

  • were u flying on gps or navigation??

  • stavi stallando e sei atterrato in anticipo, ma nessuno di voi sa atterrare?! bho

  • I always sem to go left of the runway

    what do I do

  • @TheDokaDoka Don't go off the runway :)

  • I keep on landing but failing T__T

  • its like a fat women running around the plane and shaking the plane... im serious the plane is shaking!!! nice video dude

  • i landed on my front gear at this mission, well thats hard!

  • 8:26 u had a stall

  • Ive got a question, and I mean this in all sincerity. If, God forbid, you were on a plane and the pilot died (became unable to fly somehow) would all this sim training allow you to land the plane? Do you think you could? I'd be interested to see if you could make it happen.

  • @69adrummer if you are practiced enough and fly very realistic aircraft, then you could get by. it wouldnt be a smooth thouchdown but you could probably walk away from it which is better than it crashing into a building. but i wouldnt recommend trying to rush the cockpit and take over from the real pilots

  • how do you set auto brakes?

  • were you using the gps? howd u line up with the runway

  • @shmuck50 u can use spoilers in mid air

  • somebody said to me they could here billy jean in the background

  • Im always flying with 10 degree nose up, how can i lower the nose during flight? It also makes me stall during landings, have any advise for me?

  • @mrgothere hit z to disable autopilot

  • @mrgothere turn off flight director and adjust the trim

  • no reverse thrust?

  • How do you move around and turn in the cockpit?

  • @chowychow press "Space" and use your mouse to right and left :)

  • nice landing, ils landings are pretty tricky in this weather, i tried this mission, you have to get the runway ils code and put it into the nav 1 radios , then, it will just line itself up with the runway by it self.

  • you use the scoller button on your mouse:D

  • How you can zoom to your instruments? It would be really helpful on overal panel

  • wat do u use the "course" button 4 in the 737-800? thnks

  • this mission was so easy. Everything you needed for the ILS approach was already programmed. I think the Rotterdam landing was much more challenging.

  • Little too much of the zooming in on instruments...most of us already know how to fly and what to expect as far s instrumentation.....

  • Can you or anyone else who knows how to fly all airplanes teach me how too, couse I am going to get fsx deluxe or acceleration on sarturday and I want to know every thing please anyone help me plz.

  • It isn't that easy just to teach everything...

I went through the flying school in Flight Simulator 2004 and it took me some months with practise to learn everything and still I don't know all the things. The Addon Aircrafts like PMDG 747 are more complex, these default planes aren't at all.

  • SO will you teach me

  • Do all of the Lessons as well as trying the missions over and over.....you ever hear the saying, u can lead a horse to water but you cant get him to drink? As an instructor, some people just get it. Once you take the training wheels off, its up to you to ride the bike. Its not so much teaching you to fly as it is to teach you about the concepts of flying

  • pls i think in that same mission the 747 is white in colour not blue how comes you got blue 747?

  • fullterrain(dot)com

best fsx scenery and add-on airports ever.

check out and subscribe to youtube account 'orbxtube' for previews!!

  • Does anyone know why his server is down?

  • Does anyone know why he set the Auto Brakes to RTO?

  • you are so good at this are you a real pilot?

  • hate to break it to ya but he was using autopilot

  • Did you do the ILS or manual? Every time I do the ILS the airplane glides to the touch down point and goes right through the runway and crashes. Any advise on how to solve that problem.

  • ive completed this mission every time and what you need to do is a CATIIIB ILS approach witch is autoland in witch if you keep the approach hold down the whole way, the plane will land its self and then you turn autopilot of once your at about 100 feet from touch down or less or you can keep it on the whole time

  • At minimums (400-200 feet from ground) turn off the autopilot and pitch up an extra 2 degrees. Not too much or you star climbing

  • I think you disengage autopilot at 100 ft or so and then land the plane manually.

  • thrust to 0 and flare ;)

  • landing 747 is very hard because is very heavy than 737

  • REALLY? <----------(sarcasm)

  • LOL!

  • how can i get this cockpit version?

  • this "challenge" is really easy if you just know how to program the autopilot to follow the localizer to the runway. Put on a heading hold on the localizer and manage the pitch by hand -- if anybody knows how to program vnav into the autopilot then you have it all taken care of -- also, put on auto throttle to maintain whatever the approach speed is (it says in the challenge) and switch it off at mda when runway is in sight

  • why did u remove my comment huh?????

  • erm mate, i think it says you removed it...

  • Comment removed

  • Nice!!! But it's a bit hard, I always land off-shore before the runway!!am working on it dude!! LoL

  • Fabulous--great landing. nice to see from a perspective that is not available usually.

  • dodnt use speed brakes while u r flying it will make u stall or lose too much speed

  • i hate why theyve put real atc sounds real then that lousy atc you have in free flight

  • is that the default 747-400 panel in FSX?

  • how do you get in the glide slope ???

  • nice landing!

  • Use PMDG MD11, best aircraft in the world and in FSX too :D

  • Comment removed

  • =) but why did you have auto brake on rto? :-O

  • what is RTO? :-)

  • in emergencies he can still go around after touchdown while also having break assistance

ur supposed to use them on take off too

  • ILS approach, is fcking easy to land :)

  • lol stall

  • RTO autobrake is for Rejected-Takeoff XD =]. But other than that, that landing was PERFECT. Usually in that mission I'm a bit off on the center line and pass the touchdown zone but you did awesome.

  • no its used for things like that to

  • I Thought It Was A Pretty Good Landing, I Cant Even Land The 747 In Normal Weather lol

  • yeh saving replays would be so cool

  • maxer he's not a real pilot and has no training. real pilots have years of trainng plus its quite hard to fly a simulator correctly.

SO KEEP YOU DAMN MOUTH SHUT COZ HE'S NOT A REAL PILOT YOU IDIOT!

  • Okay, you'll have room to talk when you can land a real 747 in a monsoon. However, you're just another thinks-they-know-it-all armchair pilot so shut the fuck up.

  • how do you get the autopilot to fly your gps route

  • set the NAV/GPS Button to GPS and press the NAV Button at the AP

  • whats your graphic setting on?

  • I don't care what the haters say. You knocked it down! I've been on ACTUAL planes that landed much worse than that. Props, my good man!

  • a Stall landing is a Good landing..Dont be hatin losers..he's doin a fine job

  • @ronmania86

Now in the real world when a 747 stalls on a landing, going on the assumption it stalls over the runway, the landing gear would undoubtedly collapse. Worse case scenario a wing could rupture and ignite the fuel inside.

  • nice video...=)

  • Yesterday I Did The Mission Perfectly

PS-I Just Not Stall At All But Some People Still Use Stalling To Touch Down!

  • this land was bad

    you was stall

  • well I now ho to do it but I crashed on my landing but if I try it now I should do it!

    but Thanks!

  • there's a really cheap-@** shortcut for navigating just engage autopilot so it follows your GPS rout and it's fly you straight onto the approach.

  • well I tried this mission once but I didn't succeed 5/5!

  • hmm it isn't that hard i did it before i could do an intermediate mission.

where do you mess up? i can give you some help

  • Good lord what's wrong with the autopilot on the FSX 747?! Is it just me or is it a bit odd how they've pasted on an extra V/S button and put the altitude hold button below the speed window? It's also annoying how you can't press the CMD button.

PMDG is the way forward ;)

  • ehh nice job man lol

  • why were the autobrakes on RTO?

this mission is actually relatively simple as long as you know about ILS and using the autopilot.

  • I use toe brakes for tracking center line.

I learned A while back to just leave it in the

off position, Since I'm not using Autobrakes.

So basically I was wrong setting that.

Also during wet conditions i learned to use

    the autobrakes not the toebrakes.

  • the auto brkes for fsx let you click them but, you dont see the swithch move unless you press shift+1 (2d panel).....I LOVE THIS MISSION! im pretty good at it now

  • perfect landing under those conditions!

  • i had a terrible landing on here but i still passed

  • Nice!

  • you almost stall the thing next time mabe come in a bit faster

  • how did yu take a video in mission mode

  • well you press : alt(on your keybord)====>search for options ====>flight video :)

  • I had fraps recording while I flew the mission. Also I had to record all the way

through. Then cut 2 minutes off. To fit 10

    minutes.

  • yeah with fraps it works to ot's better

  • You frekin stalled like crazy. I did a better landing. O well, not bad. Thanks for posting.

  • i also did better

  • how come the fsx 747 cockpit is always so loud?

  • Were you a bit high there...4 whites?

I don't have FSX, but for default aircraft that's pretty!

  • It's nice... That's the wind. I had to wait

longer for the proper angle of flare. Also

did you hear the stall warnings at normal speed. I was low if anything!

  • I have complete this mission, simple

  • Try Full realism. I promise you it's not easy!

Been flying 12 years! How can wind like this

    be easy!

  • You were really slow - made some stalls.

  • Actually, windsheer is what causes the stall

alarms. Windsheer is the wind changing direction

every few seconds. Causing the plane to lift

and drop 5 feet. I would pull 40% spoiler axis to keep from raising. Also remember if you hear a stall alarm it's usually too late to recover. A 747 that low

    would drop from the sky.

  • How long you been flying J8?

I don't think the rating would be this good

if 5,000 people thought I was stalling!

  • Well, not a long time. From christmas - it's just i didn't stall when i was flying this mission. No offence.

  • I bet you realism settings are not all the

way up. Because if you come in any faster

you get tremendious amounts of lift. I remember this. Try flying a helicoptor in

FS2004 with realism all the way up. LOL

  • Yeah that's right. Ive got them about half way up...

  • That makes sense. Try the mission on full realism.

That's what makes it hard to land.

    Try it!

  • Even though its expert it is one of the easiest missions because you can just do an

ILS approach right down to 200ft

  • is this the PMDG?

  • No, the default B747.

The co-pilot voice is because this is a mission in FSX

  • did u do a manual landing? or ILS?

  • I follwed atc by auto pilot and then

I used the APP after intercepting the

ILS. Then I turned off the auto pilot and

speed hold switch around 1,000 AGL.

    (above ground level)

    Hope this helps!

  • why odnt people youse mouse youke its easear and why no in helecopters too!

  • What???

  • Ahhh. Really proud, just made this one on my first attempt:D, Perfect landing too=),

aww ain't gonna say too much, youre still the king;)

  • sry but i have a qwestion on my fsx i have not atc sound and this sound on the mision why ????????????????????????? please tell meee

  • woah nice landing, also would anyone know if FSX would run smoothly with a nvidia 7900 gs 256 megs and an intel core 2 duo e6300 running at 1.86 ghz, im interesting in getting FSX and after playing the demo i can decent performance around mid to high graphic settings.

  • done this mission my self really easy, nice

  • the mission is easy! landing is not easy!

  • yes just use ILS :)

  • ILS? what are talking about?

  • ATC tell you wot speed to maintain. is this just FSX (I Have FS2004) Or is it an add on/ setting?

  • Just FSX!

FSX has missions like this one!

makes the game come to life!

  • kk. r u gonna make more vids now u reached 100?

  • That was great!! I have tried it 2 or 3 times but can't seem to land it without crashing. Any tips of how to slow down?

  • Try to use the spoiler! This helped

braking and droping when the lift comes/!

I use an axis controller from my yoke!

This way I can use a percentage!

Try using your mouse to move it back slightly!

  • erm... why you set the autobrake to RTO?

  • because I planed to use my toe brakes!

    For tracking center line!

I have been using auto brakes too.

But in wet conditions, I like the toe brakes

    for safety!

Oh If I do use toe brakes, do you use RTO?

    Anyone that's a real pilot???

  • RTO stands for Rejected takeoff If you are going to use the brakes manually dont set auto brakes at all.

  • I knew that is was for rejected takeoff. So

for now on I will leave it off,

If I am going to use manual toe brakes.

The reason I like toe brakes is, I can track

center line without jerking the plane with

    the rudder.

  • also with wet or contaminated runways its usually better to use auto braking. Or when you need full performance out of the brakes the system is able to apply full brake presure smoother and quicker than the pilot can.

  • I agree!

  • yeah

  • what is the buzzing?

  • The auto throtlle is on. So if the plane

is decending and the flaps are 10 degrees

the buzzard warns that the plane is not

using 10% throttle! So I use the speed brake

to keep the throttle open slightly.

    Make sense????

  • i think you did great work!!! a little bit to low when landing but GREAT!!

  • Thanks. I tried to stay slightly low intentionally. Cause I was getting more lift

    than drop!

    Makes sense right?

  • I beat this mission twice with full realism on the first try. It was challenging and fun at the same time.

  • Very nice.

It is a challenge for sure!

  • very low visibilty

  • I did the whole mission but stalled on final approach less than 100 feet from the airport. :[ The crash was kinda cool the co-pilot sais "brace yourself!!"

  • you shouldnt be so close to ten degrees of attitude when you flare at the landing, try to be around 5 degrees.

  • I know this. 10 is alot.

But If you try 5 defrees on this mission

you will hit hard. because i was dropping

and raising 5 feet every 3 seconds.

So I flared more to make up for my slow

    decent.

Makes sense right?? Anyone can comment on this! Please do!

  • ye it does make sense but when i did this mission i managed to land the plane softly with under 5 degrees. anyways nice video and nice landing (your tail didnt touch the ground anyways!) 5 stars

  • Thanks man!

  • no not that i was apporching around 150-170 and when i was on the run away the was a beeping sound like beep beep for ever until i landed the plane

  • That is the identifier.

That means you have a correct frequency

or atleast a local frequency. So you just

click shift 2 and your radio stack will open.

Press the vor1 button down below off.

I swear you mean the annoying beeping and

it never stops. The idea is to hear the beeps

then turn off the light below and your ILS

    id active.

  • ye but if u turn it off to early your plane will follow the heading only and wont guide you to the runway, it needs to be active because if you only give the heading it will make your plane fly in a straight line regardless of where the runway is.

  • The identifier can be turned off right after you hear a signal, which are beeps.

The Vor is always active as long as the

frequecy is in active. So at the bottom of

the radio stack is a vor 1 and vor 2 light/button. These are the identifier buttons.

  • i done this 1 it took me alot of time how do u make the beeping sound when u at minum it beep when i was doing this mission but the computer did it for me how do u make it manually

  • The beeping is caused from the windsheer.

So when thwe wind changes direction the plane

    thinks its stalling.

  • no, it's the inner marker indication while on the ILS.

  • WRONG! The beeping is part of the ILS inner marker. The fast clicking noise is the stall!

  • and nice landing lol

  • Thanks!
