@TheVardek13 ha, you don't know what you're talking about. for one thing, online tony is really, really good. he's not the best in the world, but he's relatively close. he knows other combos. but in a tourney, you go with what works and what's effective. and your amazing Japanese players (who you obviously don't know much about) do the exact same thing. look at Kindevu, Hiropon or Poongko (Poongko's Korean, actually but w/e) and you will see the same combo over and over again.

Online Tony has far more skill than Alex Valle in my opinion. It isn't a challenge at all to set up ultras with ryu like that. Just sucks that seth has such horrible defense but that's what you have to sacrifice for everyone's moves lol.

@ScienceDropped Wow, where to begin? Alright, Ryu and Ken are basic characters, yes. They're usually used to learn the game and its basic fundamentals, the dos and dont's of the game however; they can be hard to master if the player decides to pick them up seriously.
Easy to learn, hard to master.
Also, no character is "N00B" friendly, they each require a different set of patience, understanding, and dedication to master.
Everyone keeps giving Valle no credit at all. We know that he's not as good as Daigo with Ryu but he is still a good player and even if he uses Ryu he knows how to use him just check the last round, he knew what he was doing.
Man, Tony had him in Game 2 Round 2 if he would've just keep chucking LP Sonic Booms and baited the Ultra! He went for some mix-up shenanigans and lost. Tony is better than Alex, especially considering Ryu is so overpowered and Seth is so difficult to use and underpowered.
The commentator that said, "Seth is such a broken character" should be shot for being a complete moron. Seth is so far from being overpowered it's not even funny. Ryu, on the other hand...he's just complete cheese.
@allan88121 No, he's not. His AI is monstrous, but that's the Ai. The character has some pretty useful moves, but the character is the single most fragile in the game. He has both the single lowest stamina AND the single lowest stun bar in the game. 750 a pop. So what you have on your hands is a glass cannon.
His normals are actually really good, especially his jumping normals. His mix-up game is almost as good Abel: guess wrong, you're gonna eat an SRK, SPD, tanden engine, stomps, etc. With wall jumps, Dhalsim limbs and teleports, to Guile fireballs, his keep away is amazing. Seth does some of the best stun in the game. When he has an ultra, there's nothing you can do. But, die to his damage, it takes longer for Seth to win a round, on top of the fact that when he makes one mistake, it's game over.
Why do people call Seth cheap?? I don't get it. He does shit damage and has shitty health. You need to be really skilled to play seth well.. If Seth is cheap then what is Balrog? with those insanely fast jabs and almost zero recovery on his moves?? Its how the same people call Fuerte cheap for no good reason, while defending lariat and srk spamming.

Everyone keeps giving Valle no credit at all. We know that he's not as good as Daigo with Ryu but he is still a good player and even if he uses Ryu he knows how to use him just check the last round, he knew what he was doing.

Man, Tony had him in Game 2 Round 2 if he would've just keep chucking LP Sonic Booms and baited the Ultra! He went for some mix-up shenanigans and lost. Tony is better than Alex, especially considering Ryu is so overpowered and Seth is so difficult to use and underpowered.

The commentator that said, "Seth is such a broken character" should be shot for being a complete moron. Seth is so far from being overpowered it's not even funny. Ryu, on the other hand...he's just complete cheese.

@allan88121 No, he's not. His AI is monstrous, but that's the Ai. The character has some pretty useful moves, but the character is the single most fragile in the game. He has both the single lowest stamina AND the single lowest stun bar in the game. 750 a pop. So what you have on your hands is a glass cannon.

His normals are actually really good, especially his jumping normals. His mix-up game is almost as good Abel: guess wrong, you're gonna eat an SRK, SPD, tanden engine, stomps, etc. With wall jumps, Dhalsim limbs and teleports, to Guile fireballs, his keep away is amazing. Seth does some of the best stun in the game. When he has an ultra, there's nothing you can do. But, die to his damage, it takes longer for Seth to win a round, on top of the fact that when he makes one mistake, it's game over.

Why do people call Seth cheap?? I don't get it. He does shit damage and has shitty health. You need to be really skilled to play seth well.. If Seth is cheap then what is Balrog? with those insanely fast jabs and almost zero recovery on his moves?? Its how the same people call Fuerte cheap for no good reason, while defending lariat and srk spamming.
