Just a note. the mediafire link give a different PCSX. It doesn't support anything except Run CD. Make sure to download from the Megaupload link.

Even PS2 emulators are not that good, there might never be a PS3 emulator, and if there is, don't expect it in another 10 years at least...

Hey please help! It said that BIOS is missing? "PCSX wasn't able to locate any Playstation BIOS ROM files. This means that it will run in BIOS simulation mode which is less stable and compatible than using a real Playstation BIOS. Dude I need some help! I downloaded Tomb Raider 1 and 2 but none of them is playing! After selecting start new game there's a black screen and it freezes there! I had the same problem with resident evil 3 but I fixed this by selecting "Simulate PSX Bios" under "Preferences". This doesn't work for tomb raider game though! Any solution?

@ghdarkrose I've got Lion and I managed to do it. All you have to do differently is do a spotlight search for the "Application Support" folder because the "Library" folder isn't the same as it was in Snow Leopard.. :)

SOLUTION TO PCSX NOT READING THE BIO!!! You guys need show hidden files so that "Library" is shown in the USERS section!!! The PCSX folder needs to go into the USERS/Home/Library! Not the Macintosh HD Library!!! I just did this and it worked!!! You can google how to show and hide hidden files for Mac OS X!

@HeavyComponents Arrg so I have to prob do a Lion update. To enable the Library folder again like in Leopard/Snow Leopard, open up Terminal and type in:

chflags nohidden /users/**username**/library

(**username** is your username)

Then open up Finder, choose your user home folder and it should be there once again.

I hope these tips help.

1 Download the mediafire file this has the bios. I had the same error saying no bios. Also delete any old Pcsx folders and replace with this new one that you have downloaded.

2 if it only says the cd option when trying to load a game. It will still recognise an iso or bin file. You dont have to use a cd disc.

3 If you cant control the game I.E no keyboard controls. go into prefrences and select the controller option and pick the second option,
