@MrWagoneer83 But then if I posted it on XTube I wouldn't get any hits! Well, maybe a few from the pedal pumpers lol :p TBI is the best thing I've ever done to my Jeep. Going to go MPFI/SFI for my next 401 but that's just for the 'cool' factor, not because TBI sucks.
Did this set you back a pretty pennie at all? I'm looking for something to tie me over until I can get a hold of a 5.9 out of a dakota, Everyone I've talked to recomended a TBI set up.
The PWM wine on my MS3 install drives me nuts. Granted I've got an pre-existing EFI ('98 Volvo S70 5 speed), but for most of testing my install, I unplugged the stupid idle motor. Once I fire it up, the sound gets drowned out by the exhaust. The MS PWM control is kinda weird. Could be my 3-wire IAC, but I notice it does dumb stuff with the frequencies sometimes.
Hi, thanks for the comment but it's not a vacuum leak. It's the idle-adjustment screw vibrating on the throttle, it went away after a few weeks. It would also go away if you backed out the idle-adjuster or barely touched the throttle with your finger. My truck has zero vacuum leaks. :)
Hey this is shackwrrr from ifsja. You wouldnt happen to have a good link for the site in the info? I am buying a MSII in a few weeks to set my MS tbi project in motion. I am ordering the sim and the ms now. And later I will order the relay box and the cable.
Awsome vid and I will probably be getting ahold of you for some help when I get ready to get this together.
Oh I was expecting something different because of the title but...this is the wrong site for that anyways, How has the TBI Set up worked for you?

you said the hi pitched noise went away by itself...
but its caused by the PWM frequency of the idle controller setting change it around and see what works best... higher or lower

@garrypope60 Thanks for the comment Garry, but the IAC valve has not been plugged in or configured yet.

think you can get a vid of your megasquirt 2? And did you take control of idle with ms2?

It's crazy to watch the fuel as you rev and know how fast it's making it into the engine and revving.
ztwntyn8 3 years ago
Haha, which one? The first one is the fuel pump, the high pitched one is the metal vibrating on the idle screw, it's not a vacuum leak.
