  • DEEETRROIITTTT BASKETBALLLLL

  • Back when Derrick Rose was a bitch. Now Stuckey's gotta catch up to him. The game done changed.

  • @booyaaka I think rose was a rookie

  • eddie curry look like jeezy lol

  • I hope Stuckey is fully healthy this year so he can prove all the doubters wrong. I guess I could say that about the whole team. ALL-STAR 2011

  • why ruin this video with this horrible music though?

  • Man, I miss hearing Blaha's calls, can';t wait til october!

  • haha december 23th?

  • who got rocked at 3:55 Dam stucky

  • Jeezy would be proud.

  • Stuckey used to go to my school. He smacked people back then too. Now we got another NBA bound player in Josh Smith, Kentwood High Schools the place to play basketball.

  • @bryanlangdahl14 damn. thts crazy did stuck and Josh Smith play together? or is Josh to much older?

  • i miss these days at the palace

  • i like stuckey's game he can get to the rim almost at will.

  • Comment removed

  • hes dirty

  • i like his dribbling skills.. in mesmorizing..

  • he looks like 50 cent

  • woo! go cousin in law!

  • hes the reason i play basketball seriously

  • this guy is a beast! and i really believe he's now the new leader of the pistons just one question: why did you use put on? it's a cavs song

  • He "Puts On" for the city of Detroit, hence the city being shown in the beginning and the end of the video

  • Not yet, I think Prince and Rip are still the leaders on the team.

  • bynum a veteran and he won a championship over seas and played for da woriors and he 28 and stuckey 23 dis stuckey third season

  • Mike Curry doesnt deserve to be in this video

  • @adi1096 chill detroit was in rebuilding anyways. he's a young coach and was trying a lot of different things to win games. give him a break.

  • Give Stuckey a couple more years and he will be an all-star, watch.

  • lol the entire game i wasnt even looking at the score just counting stuckys points...

  • just like tmac but he wont get traded

  • MASON:(starting line up intro) IN THAT BIG ROUGH PISTON 3EEEEEEEEEE RODNEEEEEEEEEEEEY STUCK STUCK STUCK STUCKEEEEEY........DEEEEEEETROIIIIIT BASKETBALLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • well maybe ben gordon can help him "develop"

  • No, BG was competing with Derrick Rose for being the best player on the team. He is a great individual and team player but he likes to keep talent to himself.

  • well i guess your right but how can u say that he hasn't developed when has played with 3 veteran pg's them being chauncey billups, iverson, n rip hamilton all three showing different styles of position

  • Well he's had great mentors (not AI), but he still has to work on his ranged shots. I think he's the best at penetrating defense and getting a layup, but when he can't penetrate he goes for shots. He rarely gets those in, even at close range. Stuckey's gotta work on range shots and pass to people who can actually make 'em when defense is tight.

  • yeah i guess your right about stuckey's range but i jus wanna know how this guy is overrated when he's barely into his 3rd year

  • Because he's being set up as a starter. He's not quite starter material yet. And because of him, we can't get our best guards on the floor. Stuckey does have breakout moments, but he's not as consistent as Rip, Gordon, and even Bynum. Bynum's the man!!!

  • stuckey may have up down moments but isnt that part of learning the role how to stay consistent at scoring and leading i think bynum may have a higher iq in the sport but isnt but also pistons had terrible coach last year who knows maybe everything will be different im jus curious on this issue with hamilton, gordon, bynum, n stuckey is gonna play out they had good players but in my opinion they need some post players to replace rasheed n mcdyess

  • It is part of learning, indeed, but not meant for learning as a starter. A starter has lots of responsibilities and Stuckey's not yet up to par. Maybe he could be a bench player with a good amount of time. The coach might be to blame, but the players' stats weren't bad, just not good enough to win some games. And the Pistons definitely need post players, but that's why we got CV and Wilcox.

  • i don't think you realize how much gordon could really help stuckey.

because gordon is such a sniper from outside, the defense will have to give him a lot of attention, which will spread the court out and open up the lane for stuckey to get to the hole. if the defense collapses on him in the paint, then he'll be able to dish it out to the open player.

once stuckey can hit from the perimeter consistantly, look out. he'll be able to post up every PG, drive, and shoot.

  • It wasn't a mistake to trade chauncey for Iverson. We needed a rebuild and the extra cap space the iverson gave us this summer was exactly what we needed for it.

The mistake is to think that Stuckey can run the team. He can score, no doubt about it (although he's highly inconsistent). But we need a PG that can first control the tempo and deliver the ball on offense. Those things I don't see Stuckey doing it succesfully.

  • all this "stuckey isn't a pure point" stuff is just pure garbage.

he is just as much a true point as derrick rose. they are both modern day nba PG's who lead the offense and can create their own shot.

stuckey had some pretty big shoes to fill after chauncey was traded and had the worst possible backcourt mate for a young and developing PG in iverson.

he will have a much better year without AI and everyone will realize why joe trusts him at the starting PG.

  • (some more of my thoughts...)

if stuckey sees an open lane to the basket, he'll take it. didn't chauncey use to do the same thing? the only difference is that chauncey would just get to the line; stuckey's athleticism allows him to finish a lot more.

chauncey wasn't regarded as a true point when he first came to detroit. he was labeled a combo-guard bust up until he came to detroit.

people just need to chill out and let stuckey develop with this new young lineup.

  • guy is overrated, bynum, session, many more young players are better

  • Bynam is a lot better PG than Stuckey, but I think that Stuckey could one day KILL as a 2-guard. He ridiculously athletic and could evolve into a perfect slash and kick guy.

Dumars will NEVER let him go either. He basically gave away Chancey to let Stuckey step forward, and if he lets him go, he'll be admitting he was wrong.

  • Will Bynum is a lot better PG than Stuckey. If Dumars weren't so in love with him we owuld've got a lto more from Iverson and Hamilton las season.

Now I only see the Pistons moving forward when we get rid of Stuckey and Hamilton.

  • sick!!

  • As much as I like Stuckey, I'd still take Ramon Sessions over him. I just don't see Stuckey being consistent enough to be a starter in this league. All he has is that double clutch layup and nothing else. Once teams figure that out, he's done. I hope I am wrong, though. I'd like to see him drive the lane more and get to the free throw line A LOT MORE in 2009.

  • you shouldn't forget the kid is still young he's got alot of time to learn the game

  • Greatest video ever put together. The best player with the best song and his best performance

  • Go Stuckey! Reminds me of baron davis

  • Yeah, I agree. I heard that during the Rookie-Sophmore game.

  • i heard that too. great comparison

  • HES GONNA BE THE NEXT KOBE.

  • haha he'll be nothing like kobe, but his favorite player is dwyane wade, thats why he wears a 3, hes already a lot like dwade and if anything he will be like him. if not, he'll be the first rodney stuckey which is even better.

  • i agree about curry needing to be fired, the players don't believe in him and his small ball is terrible and not playing amir and max is hurting the team

  • Real talk man. Very true.

  • Washington schools would probably dominate the nation in basketball if we were able to keep more of our players in state for real. We got game out here!
