@aaahhhhaaaahhhh The War is another great documentary but it really shows the personal side of the war and how many family members of soldiers thought of the war but Apocalypse really has the best footage I've ever seen in any other documentary almost all color and rare.
@DaManzMoney I did some research. Pistols and Revolvers are subsets of Handguns, but a revolver has the revolving chamber where pistols are generally semi-auto magazine-fed handguns. People do sometimes refer to both as pistols for some reason.
@DaManzMoney That is still a rifle since it is two handed, long barrel etc. So 'revolver' is a specific name for a type of handgun. Other weapons can use the same mechanics, but when you say revolver you generally talk about the one-handed subset.
A rifle is actually called that because of the rifling of the inside of the barrel. So a musket is not a rifle because its barrel is smooth on the inside. The grooved inside of the barrel makes the bullet spin to make it travel more accurately so the loading mechanism is independent of the rifling part which gives a rifle its name. There are so many weapons lending parts to each other that its difficult to give it one name. Like a cellphone is also now GPS, Browser, Camera etc.

@DaManzMoney I did some research. Pistols and Revolvers are subsets of Handguns, but a revolver has the revolving chamber where pistols are generally semi-auto magazine-fed handguns. People do sometimes refer to both as pistols for some reason.

@DaManzMoney That is still a rifle since it is two handed, long barrel etc. So 'revolver' is a specific name for a type of handgun. Other weapons can use the same mechanics, but when you say revolver you generally talk about the one-handed subset.

A rifle is actually called that because of the rifling of the inside of the barrel. So a musket is not a rifle because its barrel is smooth on the inside. The grooved inside of the barrel makes the bullet spin to make it travel more accurately so the loading mechanism is independent of the rifling part which gives a rifle its name. There are so many weapons lending parts to each other that its difficult to give it one name. Like a cellphone is also now GPS, Browser, Camera etc.

@DaManzMoney The difference between a revolver and a pistol is a revolver has a rotating cylinder and a pistol is eather a muzzleloader pistol firing one shot or a semi automatic pistol the recoil force is used to push the slide back and eject the case so that the magazine spring can push another round up, then as the slide returns it chambers the round. Both a pistol and revolver are handguns.

During WW2 and after, he created labour camps which continued after his death (in 1953) and throughout the Cold War. Also, when you hear about the 27 million Soviets dead (60% civilian), you must think of the death squads which are never mentioned about their losses.

Also if Russians "sucked the blood" from other republics then they would be pretty rich right now (British Empire comes to mind, have you ever heard of opium wars?). @DJPassword The war was not won from USSR only. USSR plains never bombed German cities. It was those from UK and USA. Leave Germany alone without bombing their cities Russia would have been Germany today.

Stalin wanted germany to get weak with the west and then attack germany and take half of europe. Maybe even london. On the other had the west wanted germany and soviets to get very weak and then control europe or even the whole world. Hitler on the other hand wanted uk as an ally.

04:19 there are alot of inaccuracies in this documentary, the quality goes down after the year 1943.

The west should have let germany destroy Soviet Union and then attack Germany and make it weak so that Hitler would have give up.
I was in DDR and West Germany. You could see the difference from space. West Germany was much much better build and people had a very good life, while DDR was like North Korea.
This shows what Russians are like.

Biggest mistake the western powers did was to not take whole Germany under their control.
Stalin was the master of evil. Why give him half of Germany? A country like Germany should have not been divided like it has happened.
I myself believe that a dead German is worth more than 100 dead Russians.

I had the chance to be in Far East Asia but I have never been to Africa. To me Russians are just waste of SPERM which are getting born while being drunked. I was for 2 weeks in London and also 4 days in Paris. I saw so many Russian girls. I knew why they went there I just wanted to see if I was right.

The American army was no match for the Soviet juggernaut and nuclear weapons would certainly have been used. The USA would have won without a doubt but like any war which used nuclear weapons it would be a disaster.
