  • Love it !!!!!!!!!!!

  • I saw him last night in Omaha, Nebraska and he played this. I was super happy (my name is Tom). I had seen him before, multiple times, but he never played this one. I am still grinning.. Thanks for the post!

  • PINO PALADINO!!! Always jams the bass with the best...

  • @64wing Michel Steele in the Bangles, must have learned a lot from Pino, 'cause the style is very similar...ed

    w w w eddy nu

  • not that it matters, but what year is this performance from?

  • @ThaBauce You expect young people today to be introduced to really old music by watching really old movies?

  • Like if you names Simon :).

  • hey cool its that bassist from john mayer trio

  • 50k views but only 165 likes >< dear paul and art i miss your voices like hell will love you both till the day i die.love and peace together we can...

  • There's a song, America, where Art gets a long section singing alone. He's good, but the combined harmony create together just fills space like nothing you've ever heard before.

  • such a beautiful song.

  • @JoryGKenneth Damn straight!

  • Who in the name of Hell gave this a thumbs down, this is about as good as it gets.

  • Art better be f***ing honoured.

  • this brings a tear to my eye, but makes me happy

  • A true joy to the ears and soul. What talent! Feel like I'm floating on a cloud...

  • This song gives me goosebumps... on top of my goosebumps.... which have goosebumps of their own.....

  • Please check my cover out :)

  • Does anyone know the real story why they broke up..........

  • Paul sounds like himself in the old days. He keeps his vocal cord so great.

  • Have been listening to this song so much recently!.. and just recorded a cover of it... Would be grateful if you checked it out. Thanks!

  • Just plain INCREDIBLE!

  • Haunting and exquisite. Melancholy and sweet. And, as is everything Art and Paul sing together, utterly perfect.

  • totally impressive

  • I adore this song!!!!!!!!

  • A+

  • Excellent...... No surprise Honda uses it in their Accord commercials

  • Paul Simon should have been, and should be America's Poet Laureate.

  • Que bella canción. Best Song. Desde Argentina. Saludos

  • John McCain looks like Paul Simon

  • Beautiful..... i always loved the song... without really knowing the story of kidhood buddies "Tom & Jerry" (aka Art Garfunkle & Paul Simon)... now i love it.

  • I mean I love it even more.. *<:D

  • i want to hug paul simon. he's a sweetie

  • Artie = still with the voice of an angel.

  • Are there any better song writers than Paul Simon? Lyrics, tunes? Dylan, Bach...anyone else?

  • Burt Bacharach with Hall David? It'd be a close call, but it's not a competition. We can enjoy them all, without them detracting from each other. The way all of life should be.

  • @GeorgeRBM1999 lennon and McCartney are like englands Simon(paul cus he gets all the credit) and Garfunkel(the true talent, plz dont flame me i love them all i just like art)

  • @Montefusco1 Garfunkel is the true talent? Are you serious?

  • @1234FranciscoVasquez Art Garfunkel has the best singing voice. Paul Simon wrote all the songs and played instruments.

  • @1234FranciscoVasquez Art has THE voice. Just beautiful...of course Paul writes the songs and they have perfect harmony. They compliment one anther so well. One w/out the other is just not as good. But, Art has one of the most stunning, distinct tenor voices of all time.

  • This is nothing short of amazing...truly timeless.

  • G R A N D I!! stupenda questa canzone anche se la voce di art si è un po rovinata con gli anni.. mi stupisce che Simon abbia dedicato una canzone a Garfunkel poco prima della "separazione".. spero che non l'abbia fatto per provocazione..

  • My Favourite song the best song EVER.

  • Incredible bass line . . .

  • Pino Palladino from Cardiff - fretless bass genius !!

  • the voice of paul still good after all these years. But art's...

  • Ehm... Listen again.

  • quality

  • i saw them in 2004 and i like this song so much.

it's so great to hear this.

  • luv it

  • Sublime sound. Paul has used the gift he has to bring joy and peace to the world. We are all called to do that.

May Jesus Christ bless Paul and Art and all their loved ones and children.

Why deny the obvious child+++ There are crosses in the ballpark, why deny the obvious child.

May God bless all Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, atheists, agnostics, Taoists, Shintos, and all people in the world.

May God's Holy Angels intercede for all wounded and suffering in the world.

    peace hear I AM

  • I like when art steps forward and then steps back...he knows who the star is...

  • yeah i noticed it too...but i can't help but feel a bit disappointed in Paul, and sorry for Art every time it happens - though i guess Art got used of it.

anyway, the song is terrific and they're both great

  • Thank you for uploading this! So wonderful!!

  • This has always been my favourite Simon and Garfunkle song. I never realised it was written by Simon about Art Garfunkle. They truly were a magical duo - their music will last for generations.

  • i had to see the video twice, it's so stunningly beautiful

  • i love this song. thank you garden state, thank you.

  • how about thank you paul simon and art garfunkel, they made the greatest sound in the history of rock and roll

  • yesyes.

...i was just thanking garden state because i would have never became interested in simon and garfunkel if not for that movie.

  • @emilyeatstomatoes

Wow glad they made Garden State then, I'm only 27 but have always listened to S&G cause of my parents. What a crime if other people don't get the chance to hear this because they just didn't know it existed.

  • he's talking bout art when he was tom graph

  • brilliant...just brilliant...great voices...just a lovely song...nice!

  • Hey it's Pino!

  • First time I ever remember hearing this song I was looking out the window at the Milford Plaza looking down 8th Ave. and this song just made a lot of sense to me. New York, the city I love and hate both equally.

  • man, this song is so great.

  • Thank you! Your voices united are the most beautiful of the world... I hope you will be friends forever! I love you.
