so madara goes to war with the 1 hokage just to obtain some of his dna but he didn’t die . madara mixed the 1st DNA with his to obtain the rinnegan and then read all the tablet and learn about the 10 tailed beast . . After doing that he used the rinnegan outer path to bring back his brother izuna, because his brother was the only one who he trusted.
By doing so madara did a lot of damage to himself, same as nagato did when he revived everyone in konoha . Since izuna was dead for a while he must have used a lot of chakra, and damaged himself beyond repair. So before he died, madara came with a plan with izuna to revive him later on . because using the outter path would demage the user greatly ,
izuna could not use it himself to revive madara ., so he gave or transferred the rinnegan to nagato so when he grows up he can use it to revive madara. That explains why “tobi/ izuna “stayed close to nagato all the time . Tobi is very familiar with madara's history and shares the same feelings about konoha , and tobi agreed to kill the Uchiha clan with itachi , maybe because izuna was told by madara before he died how the clan betrayed him
Also izuna was revived without his eyes , and he cannot change between sharingan and rinnegan like madara did ,but instead he put both of them. Izuna being alive for this long also has something to do with zetsu, because both their flash is similar to each other , instead of bleeding , some white substance comes out . PART 2... Then he used the machine to seal half of his chakra and created two clones. Tobi and Zetsu. He gave zetsu the 1sts power and tobi his powers. That way when the Gedo Mazo machine would have all the beasts sealed, he'd use the Rinnegan to revive himself to be the host for the ten tails.

At that time Shisui was a kid same age as Itachi and Obito was a kid at that time same age as Kakashi so it is neither of them. We got to think outside the box here. I remember Tobi saying he needs to gether the tailed beasts in order to become complete. Perhaps it is possible that he is the 10 tails himself. It would explain why he gathering them.

Regarding Tobi being the elder son, I thought that is a possibility as well. The problem is that if he is, he should be incredibly powerful; too powerful to be scared of Madara. Still, there are holes in all the identity theories, so it's still very much a possibility (one of the stronger ones, IMO).

@CrazyTuber92 The writers don't ever do that. You aren't familiar with Naruto if that's the case. Naruto has had to train for every single ability he has. There is no magic in his improvement, intact he needs more improvement. Sasuke is the character who has ALWAYS received free power upgrades. The most recent has been the EMS which he did NOTHING for, as opposed to naruto who overcame his inner hatred, finally concluded his parents issues and battled the Kyuubi for it's chakra + (negotiation)

I woudn't be surprise if Tobi isn't an Uchiha because I noticed that he's Sharingan is always activated. Kakashi and Danzo are great example. And I noticed that he has a laboratory of Sharingan eyes. And if he's a real Uchiha he will not bother getting Nagato's eye since he can activate the rennigan by surpassing the EMS mode. Also izuna was revived without his eyes , and he cannot change between sharingan and rinnegan like madara did ,but instead he put both of them. Izuna being alive for this long also has something to do with zetsu, because both their flash is similar to each other , instead of bleeding , some white substance comes out . Madara unlocked the rinnegan after his battle with the 1st hokage, and the rinnegan has the power to bring dead person to life. I think he used all of his chakra to bring Izuna his brother to life and told him to put his dying body somewhere safe that only Izuna know. That's why after the dead of his elder brother he used the name "Madara" for the sake of his brother's reputation. And so that people will still believe that Madara was still powerful ninja alive.. He specifically uses the words.."Our plan." while Kabuto further contributes to this, by labeling him as an imposter.
Which is a dead giveaway. Madara obviously knows who the guy is. They collaborated at some point in the past and he refers to this person as if he's someone else.

Regarding Tobi being the elder son, I thought that is a possibility as well. The problem is that if he is, he should be incredibly powerful; too powerful to be scared of Madara. Still, there are holes in all the identity theories, so it's still very much a possibility (one of the stronger ones, IMO).

@CrazyTuber92 I think Naruto deserves an upgrade, don't you think? For a vessel of The Kyuubi, he's pretty weak. The Uchiha's has been overpowered by Kishi for awhile now. Anyways, i think, the man behind the mask is either Obito or Madara's brother. Just a guess...

@CrazyTuber92 The writers don't ever do that. You aren't familiar with Naruto if that's the case. Naruto has had to train for every single ability he has. There is no magic in his improvement, intact he needs more improvement. Sasuke is the character who has ALWAYS received free power upgrades. The most recent has been the EMS which he did NOTHING for, as opposed to naruto who overcame his inner hatred, finally concluded his parents issues and battled the Kyuubi for it's chakra + (negotiation)

@ShalKekNemRon You do have a point there but im not saying that he doesnt work for his abilities. Im just saying that sometimes the Nine Tails steps in to help him out (he himself never trained to get the Nine Tails power) For example in the fight against pain he would have been dead if pain didnt attack Hinata and caused him to transform. lol dont even brig up Sasuke, he would have died like 3 times by now if someone wasnt there to save him. Especially in the fight with Bee.

@Bragglord Suggested that Madara allowed the first to win? Post battle Madara was a shell of himself hence why he had to be revived in his prime then augmented with *something* in order to regain the rinnegan as opposed to reviving him before he died.

Since we're all like: "IF IT ISN'T MADARA, WHO THE FUCK IS THAT MASKED GUY?!" I might as well just spit out my theorie (though I'm not really sure if it really isn't Madara. I believe Kishimoto can still pull off something to make Madara the masked guy and for some reason still make us go: "Of course!"
Anyway, what if the guy is the 10 tails, but practically powerless & in human form? It would explain why he would want the 9 t-beasts (his power) and an alternative of 'Tsuke no me' -idea.

Who's to say Tobi may be an Uchiha? Remember, this guy is an expert in surgery, he could have easily make his body adaptable to the Sharingan to the limits of an Uchiha. Though he may most likely be an Uchiha, this can't be ruled out. Also, anyone notice the third socket on Tobi's new mask? Think the Byakugan may be transplanted there?

Tobi isn't izuna.Tobi is madara. (possible spoilers idk yet XD) well ..Kabuto got madaras dna and he was able to ressurect Madara because madara has NO soul. He lost it. Thats why he's 'immortal' now . The guy in the sixth coffin was Madaras SOUL. not body . thats why he was afraid of him because he CANT fight against his own soul.. I think its cause of izanagi and EMS. Anyway we will see on Thursday (: But Tobi is STILL Madara. Not izuna or obito (Lmfao) peace and i hope it helps .
